Sparrowpaw frowned as Hawkpaw ran past. Sunpaw looked at Hawkpaw, her eyes lit up with surprise. "Really? Shadepaw likes Swallowpaw?! Does Swallowpaw know?"

[walk.]

Hawkpaw shook his head and mewed, "Do not tell anyone, but this isn't actually true, I'm sure Shadepaw has told Sparrowpaw that I like her, which is true so I want revenge, will you help me?"

[wolf ;;]

Sunpaw nodded. "Alright, so all we do is spread the rumour around, but make sure Shadepaw doesn't find out?" She meowed.

[walk.]

Hawkpaw grinned and nodded, "Whatever you do, do not tell a warrior or the kits. I suggest you start with Jellypaw, she hates Shadepaw because of how she seeks attention, she'll be happy to help. Then that can be the trio that know it is only made up!" he flickered his tail and mewed, "Now I need to talk to Sparrowpaw." He ran back out to the forest and found the she cat, "Sorry I ran straight past you! I was just wondering what Shadepaw had told you."

[wolf ;;]

Sunpaw nodded and ran to Jellypaw, telling her everything. Sparrowpaw looked at Hawkpaw. "What Shadepaw told me? Oh...she said I can't tell anyone."

[walk.]

Hawkpaw looked sadly at her and mewed, "If you tell me, I'll tell you my deepest secret... Nobody knows yet, appart from one person who swore she wouldn't tell anyone."

[wolf ;;]

"I can't...sorry Hawkpaw, I promised Shadepaw I wouldn't." Sparrowpaw meowed, flickering her tail.

[walk.]

Hawkpaw shrugged and mewed, "Fine. But I'll tell you my secret anyway. Sparrowpaw, I like you but more than just friends. Shadepaw has been trying to make me tell you for ages..."

[wolf ;;]

Sparrowpaw flickered her tail. "I knew that, she-cats can always tell...but if you think Shadepaw told me she didn't, she didn't even mention you when we were talking."

Sunpaw had told all the apprentices except for Shadepaw, Swallowpaw and Sparrowpaw about the rumour.

[walk.]

Hawkpaw froze and said, "She didn't.... Oh no! Sorry, I have to go and sort something out!" he charged back into camp and skidded so he was next to Sunpaw and mewed, "She didn't tell Sparrowpaw about my crush on her... We have to fix it!"
