Sparrowpaw ran as fast as she could, but she yelped as she tripped. She got to her paws, but the dog was in front of her now. Her eyes widened as the dog grabbed her by the head.

Hazelstream ran forward to help Gremlinstorm, she swiped at the dog and slashed its nose.

Rosepetal nodded and looked at the tom. "I can help you until you get an apprentice." She meowed, then she got an idea. "Hmm...if the male calico survives to be a apprentice, why don't you make him your apprentice?"

[walk.]

Hawkpaw yowled and leapt onto the dog biting down hard onto it's neck and he mewed, "Don't worry Sparrowpaw, I won't let it hurt you!"

Gremlinstorm slid under the dog and bucked, his back legs flying up in the air and the dog went soaring.

Pondweed mewed, "I need one now, he's newborn Mum.... I just can't do everything. I need tansy but then a kit comes in with a thorn in it's paw, how do I choose!"

[wolf ;;]

Sparrowpaw winced as the dog yelped, dropping her. She staggered to her paws, her head was now bleeding.

Hazelstream watched, and she watched as the dog scrambled to its paws, yelping, and it ran off.

Rosepetal sighed. "I really don't know, I don't think any of the apprentices now would want to be a medicine cat."

[walk.]

Hawkpaw lunged at the dog, snapping at it's toes and snarled at it, his pelt bristling. His green eyes were blazing with the bravery of a lion clan warrior and his hunger for justice grew and grew.

Gremlinstorm panted heavily, staring at the floor. He paced around, sweat dripping from his pelt. His crooked leg was holding him back but he would've run after Hawkpaw.

Pondweed nodded and mewed, "I know, I just really thought Goldenpaw would be the exact one but if she wants to be a warrior, I will support her in every way I can."

[wolf ;;]

Hazelstream flicked an ear, and she blinked her eyes as Swallowpaw climbed down from the tree.

Sparrowpaw blinked her blue eyes as the dog snapped at Hawkpaw. The red tabby she-cat lunged forward and latched herself onto the dogs shoulder.

Rosepetal nodded and she sighed. "I thought Goldenpaw would be the exact one as well."

[walk.]

Gremlinstorm mewed, "Swallowpaw, go back to camp and get a patrol of warriors, we may need help." he stopped panting and sighed sadly.

The brown tabby looked down at his front white paws and saw they were stained with blood. The large tom slid under the dog and clawed at it's belly.

Pondweed shrugged and mewed, "Oh well, I am still young enough to last a while and I'm sure to have an apprentice by then."

[wolf ;;]

Swallowpaw nodded, and he pelted back to camp.

Sparrowpaw kept biting the dog on the shoulder. Her blue eyes blazing.

Rosepetal nodded, and she flickered her tail.

[walk.]

Gremlinstorm gave a swift nod before looking over to Hazelstream and smiling lightly.

Hawkpaw felt the dog shake him of and he crashed into a tree. He slowly got to his feet, although he was shaking.

Pondweed sighed and shaking his head, he padded back into the den.

Hazelstream twitched an ear and she perked her ears, listening for any yowls or barks.

Swallowpaw got to camp. "Hawkpaw and Sparrowpaw need help!" Shadepaw, Gingerpaw and Autumnpaw sped out of the den. "What happened?"

Sparrowpaw hissed as the dog threw her off, and she scrambled to her paws.

Rosepetal glanced around camp.

[walk.]

Gremlinstorm sighed and looked up to the sky and mewed, "RIght, I'm going in, I cannot take this anymore!!!!!!"

Goldenpaw slowly padded out but Brazenpaw shot out and mewed, "We have to help them guys, Hawkpaw is our brother and Sparrowpaw a great friend, we cannot just leave them!!"

Hawkpaw took out final leap at the dog and bit down hard into it's neck.
