Morningrain's eyes went wide. "Pondweed!" She called.

Boulderclaw snarled, then he crouched down and rolled onto his back, hoping to crush Gremlinstorm.

[walk.]

Pondweed came running out and mewed, "What is it Morningrain?!" his pelt was on end and his tail stiff in the air.

Gremlinstorm winced but threw the warrior of and spat, "Leave my Smallfrost ALONE!" he slashed him down the side and snarled at him.

[wolf ;;]

Morningrain thrust her head the way Jaywing had taken Yewclaw. "...Yewclaw needs herbs."

Boulderclaw bared his teeth, then he turned and ran.

[walk.]

Pondweed mewed, "He doesn't, he's dead Morningrain. He was going to die anyway. I would help him if I could. He will come round in a minute, that was his first life gone. He's got eight left."

Gremlinstorm snorted before turning to pad over to Smallfrost. He mewed, "Are you alright?"

Morningrain nodded. "I have to stop this fight." She murmured, and she ran to Highrock, jumping onto it and watching some cats still fighting. "All right! Everyone stop!" She yowled.

Smallfrost nodded and flickered her tail. "I will be."

[walk.]

All the cats looked up, heads cocked. Emberheart looked at Morningrain and mewed, "Alright Morningrain, why? Do you know where Greystar is for a start?"

Gremlinstorm nodded and mewed, "Good, we need to try and keep it uninfected."

[wolf ;;]

Morningrain nodded. "Greystar is with Rosepetal and Angel in the forest, when I was in the forest Greystar found me and told me Angel was kitting, but it wasn't going too well, and he told me not to tell anyone." She meowed, then she looked at the dark forest cats. "This fight is pointless for you. Leave now or you all die, or you can have a second chance."

Smallfrost nodded, then she listened to Morningrain.

[walk.]

"What about Ice? He's the father, isn't he with them? Emberheart asked. Ice padded out of the medicine den and mewed. Rosepetal didn't want me to watch, so I made things ready for when Angel came back." Emberheart nodded. Then he turned sadly to the body of Duststrike. He mewed, "Who will sit vigil with this brave warrior? I shall, three more cats may join me."

"Someone has to tell Willowbreeze first." Morningrain meowed.

Emberheart sighed and stared at the floor. "Any volunteers?" he asked in a quavering voice.
