Sandyfern's ears went flat against her head as Yewclaw killed the brute. "Why did you help us?" She meowed to Yewclaw.

Yewclaw looked at her and mewed, "I was also defending my own clan, keep that in mind Sandyfern. I see your son in the log, is that little Brazenkit, I'm guessing he's a paw now."

[wolf ;;]

Sandyfern nodded. "Yes, he's Morningrain's apprentice." She meowed, flickering her tail.

[walk.]

Yewclaw nodded and mewed, "Tell her my congratulations. I suppose I'd better be off now, oh and just to tell you, we are planning to raid Mist clan soon so if you scent us travelling through your territory, be assured we are just going to Mist clan."

Sandyfern nodded. "Before you go, I have to tell you that your apprentice became a warrior, his name is Patchfang now." She meowed. "Another thing, why did you leave the Clan?"

[walk.]

Yewclaw nodded and mewed,"Give him my congratulations." he paused a moment and mewed, "I suppose the clan became too big and my chances of being leader became too slim. I suppose I joined hoping to fulfill my destiny. A cat appears in my dreams every night and trains me and says I use fulfill my destiny, no matter what."

Sandyfern blinked her eyes. "Greystar was angry after you left, he's not going to let you off easy, Patchfang was upset and angry at the same time that you had left." She meowed. "And Morningrain loved you Yewclaw, even if she never told you."

[walk.]

Yewclaw blinked and shuffled his paws anxiously and mewed, "I was angry Sandyfern..... Tell them both I am sorry and tell Morningrain, I love her too..." he sighed before sprinting into the shadows. He arrived at the border where he was met by Tigrrblaze, a huge brown tabby Tom. Yewclaw spat, "I will get him Tigerblaze, I will..." then the Duo disappeared into the shadows.

Sandyfern blinked her eyes, then she looked at Emberheart and Firepaw. "We should head back to camp, Pondweed needs to look at my leg." She meowed, then she looked at the log Brazenpaw was in. "You can come out now Brazenpaw."

Nightshadow paced around the dark forest camp, the black tabby tom growled, green eyes glinting.

[walk.]

Brazenpaw came out, his back was bleeding slightly from being cut inside the log but nothing too bad. Emberheart was just shaken up, that was all. He nodded and mewed, "Training will have to wait Firepaw."

Yewclaw came storming into the clearing and looked around. He noticed Nightshadow and growled, "I killed the one dog but a snow clan warrior attacked the other and the stupid mutt chased it."
