"If I died then I would be dead already, I've had a fever since Greystar became deputy." Rosepetal meowed, one of her ears twitched as she spoke.

[walk.]

Pondweed's eyes grew wide and he mewed, "Why didn't you tell me Rosepetal! I could have saved you..." he sighed and mewed, "It's too late now, you'll be dead by sunrise tomorrow! I can't believe you have given Shiverkit the fever, what if he doesn't recover!?"

[wolf ;;]

Rosepetal's tail trembled slightly. "StarClan's been keeping me alive." She meowed. "Ans Shiverkit will recover, because you will make sure he does." She added.

[walk.]

Pondweed felt tears well up in his eyes and he ran over to his mother and nuzzled her and mewed, "Thank you for doing everything for me and Angel, and for looking after me, I will really, really miss you..." he felt a tear stream down his cheek and he mewed, "I will make Shiverkit recover."

[wolf ;;]

Rosepetal sighed. "StarClan's making me suffer for having you and Angel, giving me a fever and making me stay alive." She croaked. "Shadeflame told me that I knew what I had to do...there is one way I can be saved."

[walk.]

Pondweed cocked his head and mewed, "How Rosepetal? I will do anything to save you after all you have done for me! Thornslash would agree..." he sighed and flickered his tail.

[wolf ;;]

"You have to find Angel." She said roughly. "Kin has to stick by kin, no matter what, and when you and Thornslash hated her, StarClan put my suffering harder on me because I wouldn't stop you." Rosepetal meowed. "You have one day, take Thornslash with you."

[walk.]

"So we have to go and say sorry to Angel? But she could be anywhere! Probably in a different forest by now! But I promised I would try and I keep my promises." mewed Pondpaw bravely. "But Thornslash will take some convincing..."

[wolf ;;]

"She's living in a towlegplace, I can feel it." Rosepetal meowed. "Get Thornslash, I'll convince him."

[walk.]

Pondweed nodded and ran over to Thornslash and mewed, "Rosepetal needs to talk to you about something very important." the old, huge brown Tom stood up and mewed, "Take me to her."
