Yewclaw snarled, "Only a mouse brain sticks up for a traitor..." he turned and stormed away. He ran out into the forest until he reached the edge of the dark forest. He looked at the great oak and mewed, "Sedgecreek, it is not my time yet." and ran of.

Lionfoot was back in the corner he had been in, he glanced at the sky and saw it was getting dark, then he padded over to Emberheart. "Uh, Emberheart, its nearly moonhigh and I have to go to the fourtrees to go to SnowClan, since your deputy you have to assign a patrol to go with me like Greystar said. We will get to four trees just before moonhigh, so its better that I go now."

[walk.]

.emberheart nodded and mewed, "Secretpath, Forzensky, Flareleap and Duststrike will escort Lionfoot to four trees, if you see any amount of snow clan cats there, stay calm, they have just come to escort Lionfoot home." Jellypaw felt tears welling up in her eyes as she watched her father go and Berrynose felt a tear slip down her cheek and she wailed. Salmonpaw's face just stayed black, his expression cold and impossible to read.

Secretpath and Frozensky both nodded and they looked at Lionfoot, the orange tabby toms face was blank. Morningrain padded over to Berrynose and tried to soothe the she-cat. Firepaw and Coldpaw both padded forward. "Why are we letting Lionfoot go free?" Firepaw demanded. "Yeah! He's a traitor, we should give him a scar he'll never forget!" Coldpaw added.

Berrynose sobbed, a series of tears streaming down her face,and Jellykit gulped, her muscles stiffening but Salmonpaw's entire body tensed, refusing to give in. Emberheart mewed to the apprentices, "He was born in Snow clan, we all knew some time he would return, just not this soon.." at this, Berrynose screamed and went crying into the warriors den, leaving Jellypaw, shivering in the clearing.

Lionfoot sighed and his ears flattened against his head. "Then why did we let him in the Clan in the first place?" Coldpaw meowed. "Because Lionfoot was an young apprentice when he strayed into our territory, just apprenticed at the time, he would've died if we didn't. We asked him if he wanted to go back and he didn't." Frozensky meowed. "Lets go, I don't want to keep Nevafang waiting at fourtrees." Lionfoot meowed, he kept the sadness out of his voice, and he padded out of camp. Secretpath and Frozensky followed.

Flareleap nuzzled Jellypaw gently and mewed, "You'll be alright little one..." and ran after Duststrike. Duststrike mewed, "Lionfoot, would you like to swim across our river for the last time, or immediantly pass onto four trees?" Jellypaw sniffled and Began shaking violently.

"I want to go straight to four trees, I don't want to linger for too long." Lionfoot meowed. Secretpath looked at the orange tabby and knew that by the look on his face that he would've wanted to, but he didn't want to stay for much longer.

Duststrike snorted and said, "Fine, whatever." and stormed over. When he reached fourtrees he slashed Lionfoot across the face and mewed, "That is my goodbye present." and he stormed away. Flareleap rolled her eyes and Duststrike and mewed, "Bye Lionfoot." and walked after him. Nevafang sat there with two tiny kits at her feet and mewed, "Lionfoot, I would like you to meet Mothkit and Cheetahkit." one was a misty grey with light blue eyes and the other was bright gold withtiny black spots all over him.
