Bluepaw led the patrol to the border, and she flicked her ears. SplashClan warriors were talking to each other, marking a new border line well inside NightClan territory.

Yellowsparrow mewed, "Right, apprentices stay up here, Wolfpaw, take Skyfoot to Smallfrost and Willowbreeze too. Gremlinstorm and Hawkfang, let's show these warriors how strong night clan is, and that this will be told to the other four clans." he padded slowly down the hill, baring his fangs and blue eyes flashing, his haunches rippled as the powerful Tom gave throaty hisses at the splash clan warriors. Hawkfang stalked after Yellowsparrow, although he was even bigger than him, his green eyes on fire with pure envy and hate. Gremlinstorm looked slightly more relaxed, not baring his fangs but the one eyed Tom glared at the warriors out of his one stormy grey eye.

Bluepaw nodded, and she led Skyfoot and Willowbreeze to where she had seen Smallfrost.

Some of the SplashClan warriors looked up, and they hissed at the NightClan cats.

Yellowsparrow roared, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON NIGHT CLAN TERRITORY, AND MARKING IT?!"

One of the SplashClan warriors snarled. "this should rightfully be our territory! Your mouse-brained Clan took one of our apprentices!"

Yellowsparrow hissed, "One of YOUR apprentices you say? One of YOUR apprentices who came from a NIGHT CLAN queen, who's foster father Andes the leader of night clan?! Who's sister is a night clan apprentice?! And this, is over half way into our territory, and you wouldn't have a clue how to catch prey here, so leave now! And don't worry, the cland at the gathering will know about this, and we will, one day, get you back!"

Yellowsparrow smiled cockily and said, "Happily." he grumbled, to Hawkfang and Gremlinstorm to go for the other two and he padded calmly forward and began circling the Tom. He suddenly leapt and pinned him down, biting right into the jugular vein with one tooth, causing the most pain possible.

The tom yowled and tried to get him off.

Yellowsparrow bit in harder and growled, "Get off Night clan territory right now."
