Butterflight flicked her ears. "You...you know I wouldn't go around and mate with other toms."

[walk.]

Salmoncut growled and said gruffly, "I am not the father Butterflight, so who is?"

[wolf ;;]

"Well you have to be the father!" Butterflight meowed. "I haven't mated with any other toms. And how do you know that your not the father anyway?!"

[walk.]

Salmoncut growled, "Because I haven't mated with you Butterflight!"

[wolf ;;]

"That doesn't matter!" Butterflight meowed. "You could still be the father, there is more then one way."

[walk.]

Salmoncut put a paw forward and snarled, "Well then Butterflight, I'd appreciate it if you told me HOW else!"

Butterflight flattened her ears, and Angelflight got to her paws and looked at Salmoncut. "If your going to snarl then get out, this is the nursery, not a battlefield."

[walk.]

Salmoncut sighed and calmed down, mewing, "Butterflight, how else."

[wolf ;;]

Butterflight got to her paws, and she looked at the others before she looked at Salmoncut. "Look, I'll tell you who the parents of the kits are, but not here." She meowed, but she said it quietly so only he could hear.

Salmoncut nodded and mewed, "Let's go to behind the medicine den."
