Butterflight looked at her daughter, then she padded over and nuzzled her daughter softly, curling her tail around her. "It'll be fine, I'll help you ok."

[walk.]

Maplepaw nodded and sighed, closing her eyes.

Butterflight blinked her eyes. "I have an idea, if you want to know what it is." She meowed to Maplepaw, and she licked her on the head.

Maplepaw looked up and nodded.

"We'll, when the kits are born, make sure I come with you, and you can have them in the forest. We'll say I'm the mother of the kits." Butterflight meowed. "Its the end of leaf-bare, and your kits are coming in two moons, which is in the middle of new-leaf. They won't be able to tell that your expecting kits and I'm not, because everyone in the Clan will be well-fed." She added.

[walk.]

Maplepaw nodded and mewed, "Yeah! Because I look exactly the same as you! That would work! But the dad..... He looks completely different to Salmoncut!"

[wolf ;;]

"Who is the father to your kits? You can tell me." Butterflight meowed.

[walk.]

Maplepaw growled and spat, "Blackpaw... That's why I hate him so much..."

[wolf ;;]

Butterflight flicked her ears, and she nodded in understandment. "My father was a grey cat, if any of the kits look like Blackpaw, we could say it came from my father, or Salmoncut's mother, since she is black, orange and white."

Maplepaw nodded and mewed, "Yeah, we'll have too I guess..."
