Falconkit ran out of the medicine den into the nursery and mewed, "Mum! Mum! Bramblekit, Smallfrost's litter and Butterflight's litter are being made apprentices!"

[wolf ;;]

"Thats great!" Sandyfern purred.

Wolfkit poked her head out of her nest, her blue and amber eyes glinting. "Whats going on?"

[walk.]

Mistkit mewed, "Yeah Falconkit, tell us!" Falconkit mewed, "We are being made apprentices, today!"

[wolf ;;]

"What?!" Wolfkit squealed, tumbling out of her nest. "We're becoming apprentices?! Wow!"

[walk.]

Mistkit giggled at his sister but then cried out as a head emerged from the moss, and Mistkit fell out of the nest. A little pair of yellow eyes appeared and mewed, "Wow, really?!"

[wolf ;;]

"Yeah!" Wolfkit purred. "Wow...I'm going to be Wolfpaw by the end of today!"

[walk.]

Burntkit mewed, "And I'm gonna be Burntfoot!" Rubystorm mewed, "You don't become a warrior in a day Burntkit! Is that the name you want?" Burntkit nodded and mewed, "It does make sense though!"

[wolf ;;]

Wolfkit purred, and Blackkit came out of the nest. "Cool!" He meowed. "I'm going to be the best apprentice ever!" Wolfkit purred and shoved her brother playfully. "You wish!"

[walk.]

Mistkit purred, "I'm afraid that spot is taken!"

Wolfkit looked at her brother. "I'm so going to be a better apprentice then you!" She teased.
