Salmoncut grinned and mewed, "Well, you were not exactly hiding it very well!" he nudged her and chuckled.

Whisperkit nodded and mewed, "Shiverstep and Moonheart saved us from the mean Rogue's! They have been stealing our food, and Mummy couldn't cope!"

Reedkit blocked the visions out of his head and curled up tightly in a ball, squeezing his eyes shut. The tiny kit whimpered in fright as he saw visions of his families dead bodies on the floor, with Yewclaw and Whisperkit standing over them. He cried out and began sobbing.

[wolf ;;]

Butterflight purred softly and flicked an ear.

Nightpelt flicked his ears. "Well, Moonheart and Shiverstep did the right thing in bringing you and your family to join the Clan if you were always bothered by the rouges."

Willowbreeze watched Reedkit, then she began licking him. "Alright, tell me what is wrong Reedkit, you know you can tell me." She murmured softly to her son.

[walk.]

Salmoncut grinned then noticed Jellyspark staring at him and mewed, "Do you know anywhere to take this in private?"

Whisperkit nodded and mewed, "Can you tell us a story of this clan Nightpelt, one right back from when you had just been made a warrior?"

Reedkit looked up at his mother, still sobbing, his jade eyes full with tears and mewed, "I dreamt, Yewclaw killed all of you, he's still alive Mummy and Whisperkit, he kept shifting from his body to Yewclaw's, I think he is Yewclaw's son, and star clan has chosen me to stop the both of them, I don't want them to hurt you!" he howled and began crying.

[wolf ;;]

Butterflight flicked her ear nervously as she saw Jellyspark staring at Salmoncut, and she got to her paws. "It doesn't matter where, lets just go into the forest, after all, no one can follow us."

Willowbreeze curled her tail around her kit, then she called out of the nursery. "Littlekit!" She called, then she began to groom Reedkit, trying to soothe him.

Nightpelt nodded and was about to talk, but he heard Willowbreeze's voice and looked at Littlekit. "Go to your mother." He meowed. Littlekit flicked an ear, then she went to the nursery.

Salmoncut nodded, "I'll take you to my favourite spot. I used to spend hours sitting there with my Dad as a kit, and then after he had gone." he entwined tails apwith her and purred, looking into asher eyes.

Reedkit sobbed and huddled in close to his mother, Tide stared at the floor and murmered, "I fell in love with Yewclaw, the killer of so many! And now... I have given birth to his kits. He said his name was Jack and that he was a kittypet..." Reedkit sobbed, "He killed his own brother... My daddy!"

Whisperkit gulped and huddled in a corner of the den. He squeezed his eyes shut tight.

Butterflight nodded and she purred. "Alright."

Willowbreeze looked at Tide. "How could you not know he was a Clan cat!" She hissed. "Even if he was in the dark forest, he still had Clan cat scent!" She spat.

Littlekit padded into the nursery and flicked an ear as she saw her mother hiss and spit at Tide.

[walk.]

Salmoncut took her into the forest until they were at the foot of a Willow tree tht looked out onto a lake. He sat down and murmered, "How long have you liked me?"

Tide looked up, tears in her eyes and mewed, "I lost my sense of smell in a fire. When I was a kit, I got trapped in a barn that got set alight, I barely got out alive. With prey, I have to hear it, not smell it."

Whisperkit huddled deeper into the corner and whispered, "Please don't hurt me."

Butterflight sat down and flicked her tail. "A few moons after I became an apprentice."

Willowbreeze growled, then she looked at Littlekit. "Littlekit, I want you to stay here with your brother." She meowed, and she looked at Sparrowsong. "Look after them." Then she stormed out of the den. "Morningrain!" She meowed, her eyes blazing with anger, this was the second time she has been angry. She saw her sister come out of the warriors den and towards her.

[walk.]

Salmoncut chuckled and mewed, "I liked you jut deter we became warriors. I had never really noticed you before then, you know, being caught up in the whole Lionfoot business."

Tide grabbed Swankit and mewed, "Stay quiet." she turned to Littlekit and mewed calmly, "Where is Whisperkit. I need to find him and protect him, if Willowbreeze's anger gets the better of her."

[wolf ;;]

Butterflight nodded, and she twitched her tail

"He's in the elders den." Littlekit meowed. "But my mother would never take her anger out of a kit, no matter how angry she is."

Willowbreeze told Morningrain everything, then the two she-cats headed into the forest.
