Vampires. The males, void of emotions, are heartless killers. They live to kill. Murderers, that's what they are. The females, taken to be the same as their male counterparts, are often left with no choice but to kill when a hunter appears before them. Vampire hunters, who live in heavily guarded villages where role of women is to
do nothing more than stay at home and look after their families, try to be emotionless and distant. On his coming of age hunt, a young man finds a mesmerisingly beautiful girl slumped by a tree. She is sick and alone. Something about her gives off strange vibes. Her aura. It's different. Worried, he doesn't stop to think and sneaks her into his village where his mother, the village doctor helps to heal her. Quite taken by the girl, the boy helps his mother to care for her. The boys mother seems to know something, but doesn't utter a word about it. All is good until one morning, when the boy and the mysterious girl are roused by the doctor. "Run."
