"Dead..." He sighed. "Fly... Il go fly... Take a breather..." Cookie jumped of and went to the door. "Breather..." He said and flapped his wings.

"I'm going to go get some fresh air too." I slung a bag around my shoulder then flew outside to the forest.

Cookie flew towards the lake. He loosend his wings and fell in feeling the cold water go over him.

I walked through the forest collecting herbs and hunting down squirrels. That's when something moved. It wasn't a rodent and it wasn't very fast nor was it stable. I got closer to it and realized it was a vampire hatchling. I picked it up and cradled it in my arms and ran as fast as I could back to the castle.

Cookie played around in the water. Feeling much better I get out and fl back to the castle.

I came inside the castle and ran to ladie with the hatchling cradled in my arms. "Ladie!..." I said out of breath, "I found this hatchling in the forest!" I smiled then looked down at it as if it were my own child.

Ladie looked down at the hatchling. She grabbed the hatchling fast but softly and brought it to her room. "Seems like it got a vampire type of cold." she said and then put some worm cloths on it. "Seems like it has no parents. You want to be its paret?"

I sat there and stared at the hatchling for a minute or so then gently grabbed It in The blanket and cradled it In my arms. "Yes," I said with a smile as my eyes started to water.

forever walked around the corner sleeply. he saw another hatchling about his size in gold's arms. he slowly walked over to gold and the hatchling. he looked at it curiosly. "what is it?"

"it's a hatchling I found in the forest," I said as I couldn't stop smiling. "I'll be taking care of him."
