Okay well, we won't be using this all the time, only when I can't be on a chatzy. We should probably post what we did on the chazty here next time we go on ^.^

Skye, after seeing Ren who was alive, over his dead body and being thrown back into the land of the undead, and sat on the ground and pulled his knees to his chin. He was dead. He had saved Ren, but he had died.... he could never go back. "You weren't lying.... I'm dead." His tone was quite, saddened and shocked.

[Natey-Night]

Unity walked up to him. She began to rub his back in a motherly way, "Would you like me to give him a message for you?" She asked cautiously, "I'm really sorry." Unity wasn't one to brag, especially about something like this.

[Noel]

Skye didn't want to give Ren a message; he wanted to live, to tell the boy in person. Had they not promised to be together forever? The memories had fully returned to him, everything that had happened. Ren and himself had run into several attacks while raiding a building, and were badly outnumbered. Through some miracle they managed to defeat them, but Ren was fatally wounded and a minute from death. He had smiled and told Skye it would be alright, but Skye, who had vowed to never let Ren he harmed, had loudly screamed to the gods that he would give anything for Ren to live. The price had been his own life, to which he had agreed.
Accepting the touch on his back, Skye shook of her apology. "Yes... please...." Skye took a breath, knowing he had to make this meaningful. "Tell him that... I love him, and that he better live a damn good life for me... and that well meet again someday." That was all Skye had to say, but at the last second he thought of one more thing to add. "Oh, and tell him his hair looks like there are a few rabbits in it... it's an old joke, so he'll know it's from me...." And then Skye was done caring, and just cried into his hands.

Unity was touched. She gently pulled a vial out of her shirt and gave it to him, "I think you need this. This helps the undead live forever, but it'll work on one of the alive. Just one drink and you'll be granted life, but..." Tears began to well up in her eyes, "You'll forget about all this, about me. You need this though. You have so much to live for, though, my time has past. It was nice to have a real friend for a bit, though I'm used to losing people I've grown to care about and love." Unity gently kissed him on the cheek and began to walk away, "Goodbye."

Seeing Unity pull out the vial, and tell him what it was and what it did.... Skye for a minute was too shocked to believe. That thing... could let him live again? Make it so he could live on with Ren again, get to experience his life that had been cut far too short once more before death... he wanted nothing more, and never could. Despite the immediate sadness he felt for Unity, he was going to drink it. Such an offer was not to be given away. But that did not mean he would abandon the girl either. Immediately springing to his feet, he raced over to her, grabbing her by the sleeve.
"I'm going to drink it... but... come back with me. You can go between worlds, can't you? Even if I won't remember you, we can be friends... right?"

Unity, though shocked, nodded slowly, "Do- do you really want me to come with you? I never really got to see what your world looked like and...I was just wondering, Have books caught on yet? Or are they still for the rich only?" Unity thought for a minute, "Won't it be weird having someone like me around, someone who knows nothing about the world around her? I mean, last time I checked, Silk was just starting to be made in other places besides China." Unity was smiling even though of these problems. She hugged Skye tightly.

Unity didn't seem to realize a slight issue: it had been thousands of years since her time. If every day was a year, then every year was 365 years. So if she had been there eleven years... it had been four-thousand-fifteen years, a very long time indeed. Skye had always been a street-child and knew absolutely no history that far back. Answering her questions would be difficult indeed. "It's been a long time...there was a world-wide bombing in 3327, but civilization is doing alright now. Books aren't that common anymore, they're all computerized on holograms and such, but those are mostly for the rich. I'm a street-child there, thief to be exact, so I have a few of them from stealing them. And I don't even know what silk is... but I'm sure you'll be fine. Just tell us that you came from some other country... that you're looking for work as a thief. We take everyone generally, it won't matter that I won't remember you..." Skye took a breath, having forgotten to breath while he spoke. Feeling himself hugged, he returned the gesture, wrapping his arms around the girl. "You'll be fine. Talk to Ren a lot. He's the nicest boy there is, he'll help you around. And if you befriend him... I usually like anyone he does. So we'll end up friends." Skye didn't mention that normally he was very unlikeable, so she was going to have to go through Ren if they were to be anything but eneimes.

[Natey-Night]

Unity nodded, "Alright. I understand. Just drink that there and we'll be on our way into the future!" Unity said excitedly, "I'll open the portal. She began to concentrate and a rip through the two demensions began to open. Unity opened her eyes and smiled. She led Skye into it. She smiled at him and ran into it, not noticing that she was wearing clothes from her original time period.

Skye, with a grin, reminded her: "Its not the future for me." And then, without another word, downed the vial he had been given. Immediately he felt the changes, as a warm and solid feeling he hadn't realized he'd been missing began to return. With that though, his memory turned blurry and dazed, as if he could't understand what he was doing or where he was. Thankfully Unity pulled him into the portal before his memory utterly vanished.
And time changed. When Skye had offered up his life for Ren, the past had altered so the blade struck him through rather then Ren, and now it altered so the wound was not fatal. Instead of dying in Ren's arms, the younger boy carred him off to a hospital wherehe survived.
In the present, Skye was bedridden and pained, but alive. Ren was sitting nearby, talking on and on about some shiny thing he had stolen. Skye nodded, but his gaze was elsewhere and his brow furrowed, feeling as if he had forgetten something.
