One boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district are selected to participate in the Hunger Games. This is the Capitol's way of reminding them that the districts are totally at their mercy. The Capitol requires them to treat the Hunger Games as a sport, and shows it on televisions throughout the whole of Panem. Once selected, the tributes have no way out, unless of course they win, or someone volunteers. But if you win, you will hear your fellow tribute's cries over and over in your head as they die. There is no way out.
Its the 77th Hunger games, and your district is gathered. You wait, hoping your name isn't drawn, but it is.....You walk up to the stage, looking at your fellow tribute. You are then ushered into a room to say probably your last words to your family. You say your goodbyes, and head off. You prepare on the train to the Capitol. When you get there, you are put in a room on your own. You pass all the tests, your interveiws go great. Then you are put into the entry tube, and are lifted into the vast arena. To your right, a vast forest awaits you with untold dangers. To your left, is a deep grassland. Behind you is a giant lake. In front of you, is the famous Cornucopia, it's treasures littered before it, with the most needed items closest to the horn. You have 60 seconds before you can step off your platform, into the deadliest game on earth. Any sooner, and the game will be over for you before you Know it, as the ground before you is full of land mines. "60,59,58,57,56....."

5 swords, 8 knives. 5 sleeping bags. 3 backpacks (containing water purifying powder, a sleeping bag, a bottle, a pair of night vision glasses, 1 bow and 12 arrows, 3 spears, 6 loaves of bread, 4 tridents, 5 bandages, 15 apples and a water bottle.
