Why Hello There!

I'm looking for a 1x1 or small, cozy group roleplay.

Me

My name is ArchZombie. You can call me Arch, or Zombie, or pretty much anything. Whatever floats your boat (of zombies). I'm a pansexual/questioning female. I have been roleplaying for about 4 years, and I consider myself semi-literate to literate. I am a gamer and equestrian. I'm a *tiny* bit of a grammar Nazi. I'm from the cuddly country of Canada. My favourite color is green.


What to Expect

-My writing style is semi-literate to literate. I usually write upwards of 5 sentences, but have been known to write 5-6 paragraphs. Any more and I find the other person gets cut off, or doesn't feel they can match it. I have been on both sides of that, and it's a problem. If I do it to you, let me know. I tend to mirror posts, so you you write a lot or a little, I will too. Likewise, if you shrink and centre your text, I will too.
-I usually only roleplay through thread. I find otherwise it clogs up my inbox, and I miss other messages. Unless I really like you, I wont RP through PM.
-I roleplay in third person, and expect my partner to as well.
-I am very open-minded about plots. Even if they are not on my list, I will probably do your plot if you ask, original or otherwise. I don't tend to roleplay TV, book, or movie characters, but I will roleplay in the 'universe' it takes place in. Unless I am soul-bonded with the character, I find it hard to speak/act/make choices like that character.
-I will not do 'Romance', 'Emo Romance', or 'Forbidden Romance'. They just aren't interesting, and I end up quitting them in a matter of hours. I will do romance combined with another plot, or an interesting romance plot (family, anyone?), but not just 'love at first sight' kind of thing.


What I Expect

-I'd like my you to have good grammar and spelling. In fact, it's a requirement. I do understand mistakes, I'm not a monster. Please no chatspeak, and please, please, please don't leave your I's uncapitalised. It's a pet peeve.
-I would like you to also be semi-literate to literate, but writer's block is OK. I also love pretty posts, but they don't have to be all that fancy (mine sure aren't). Please at least describe things. I can't stand people who don't describe things.
For example:
"Charlie laughed at Maria's joke"
Compared to:
"Charlie felt his face crinkle into a wide smile. He felt a giggle bubble up from somewhere deep inside him, perhaps his soul. Maria's sense of humour was perfect, was just what he wanted. She was everything he wanted. His eyes turned into slits as they laughed, breathless, together."
-I would like someone with some roleplaying experience, if not here, then on another site or in LARP. If you could include an example of the way you roleplay when we get in contact, and I will provide an example of my style.

I am always up for a horse RP! I am in love with the animal, and the sport. I am a hunter/jumper, but I would be willing to do other disciplines. Perhaps a horse camp or stable? I'm also up for a horse/rider RP. Not so into horse/horse, but I'll do it with the right RPer.
Dragon

I love dragons, and always have. I have fascination with them, and have a shelf filled with dragon books and dragon sculptures I've collected over the years. You'd be hard-pressed to find a girl with a more complete knowledge of dragons then me. I'd like a dragon rider RP, or maybe scientists studying them? I dunno, come to me with a plot.

Lab subjects, human or otherwise. Or maybe scientists. If we were scientists, I wouldn't have a problem with no subjects. No scientist/subject romance RPs, just not my style.
Wolves

I used to be obsessed with wolves, but I got over it as I aged. But what stuck with me was a love of would RPs, they just go a little bit more sophisticated. This one would be cool with a small group.

I am online often. And I am anything but a one liner. I consider my self a semi-literate to literate roleplayer and can usually post about three paragraph per post. And I don't do normal boring posts. I like to make neat posts, using things like dividers and nice, non-blinding colors. I am a female. But I will also roleplay a male. I don't mind it very much. So your choice, male or female or both. And I like rolplaying only one or two characters. but can do more.

Please do not PM unless you are able to post at least two good lengthy paragraphs per post. I appreciate nice neat posts but they are not mandatory. But I would like you to have good spelling and grammar a few mistakes is fine, I am not perfect either. I would love it if you could reply once a day. And the more the better. But I understand everyone has real lives.

Early that summer morning a loud beeping awoke the eighteen year old. Yes, of course James had set his alarm clock even though he wouldn't have to worry about school for a few months. Being who he was, it was completely necessary. Sitting up and slowly stretching his long arms, the British boy got out of bed with out hitting the snooze button a single time. You better believe that took some practice. James rubbed his bright forest green eyes with both hands on his way to the small bathroom not far from his bed room. He managed to get one large hand on the facet to make cold water run from it and into his now cupped hands. James wasn't a robot he did need a little help waking up completely, so he splashed the ice cold water against his pale face. And that did the trick, he found him self jumping back slightly. Looking up he saw his reflection for the first time that morning. As usual his face was free of any blemish and he deep dimples were noticeable even when he wasn't smiling. His dark brunette curls looking unkempt as always, he ran his fingers threw his hair and decided he was done with it. As much as he hated having waves in his medium long hair, the bed head look was more his style. James quickly brushed his teeth before heading back to his room.

Sun was now shining brightly threw the two windows in the boys room, and looking over the small area you could probably tell that James had a real OCD problem. Everything had it's place and that's where it would stay. But one thing that made his living space so unique is that he had draw all over the nice white walls. With various neatly draw characters of his own insane imagination. Heading straight for the closet he opened the door and let his green eyes searched threw the shirts hung up in front of him. After hesitating only for a few seconds, he grabbed the first thing he thought of as decent. A plaid button down. Something that was commonly worn by him. As for pants he found a old pair of jeans, they had a few rips in them but he liked them that way. After adjusting everything to his liking, he sat threw the floor and looked threw he large amount of sneakers. James picked an older pair of black converses and was pretty satisfied with the outfit. But he really never cared in the first place. Now the teenager look over to his small wooden night stand, sitting on it was he black iphone. Walking over he picked it up hitting the middle button to make the screen light up. The background picture had been the same one for a while now; his girlfriend and his own smiling faces. But no new messages. He shrugged, the fact didn't really make him concerned. So he just stuffed in his back pocket without a second thought.

James jogged down the stairs quickly, the smell of bacon and other breakfast food filled his nose as soon as he stepped of the last step. "There you are James, I was thinking you would never come down..." he heard his grandmas sweet voice as he walked in the kitchen. "Why are you all dressed up? Leaving already? Without eating? What on earth is the big hurry?" here we go again, his grandmother always asked him as many questions as possible. But he adored her, so he responded with a smile. "I was going to head out to the...the..uh..." James hesitated, he wasn't sure where he was going. "Out to the beach!" he finally managed to get out, his thick accent filling the room. As for his grandma she just smiled and nodded to excuse him. Grinning in return, his dimples becoming even more noticeable he turned and head towards the front door.

Placing his hand on the cold door knob he twisted it to the right, but before he could even open the door, loud yipping and a large puppy sliding and crashing into his leg, made him release the knob. "Arthur! Bad boy go back with grandpa!" James scolded looking down at the mutt. Arthur whimpered slightly then cocked his head to the left, his straight ear staying in place but his bent one moved in front of his face. James bit his lip and looked down at the k9 for a few moments. "Fine, fine. Let me go get your lead" Turning around once again the eighteen year old grabbed a baby blue leash and connected it to the dogs collar. Smiling again James finally opened the door, but was caught off guard and jerked forward when Arthur rushed out the door.

James may have had a rough start, but his grandparents were wealthy. They never spoiled him but when he turned 16 the only thing he wanted was a Lamborghini. And by his surprise they got him one. And again due to his OCD the black vehicle was spotless. But he hated the image it gave him when people saw him driving it. He was anything but a spoiled rich prick. James had a love for the simpler things and was anything but flawless. But his car was his guilty pleasure. Opening the passenger door he allowed Arthur to hope into the seat next to his. Slowly he made it over to the drivers side and closed the door. For what seemed like ages James just sat there grasping the wheel, he still wasn't use to driving on this side of the car. Chuckling slightly at himself James turned the key and the car roared to life.

It didn't take long for the loud fast car to arrive at the destination. And the ride was smooth for the most part. Especially after James cracked a window and Arthur ended his cursed barking. Standing out of the car he got ready to get Arthur but instead the mutt came running out of his side of the car. And raced down the beach before splashing into the salty waters. "Arthur! Come back!" The British boy called after his beloved pet.

I'm going to skip the reason I'm here, because by looking at the title of the topic, it should be really clear on why I'm here.
No, I do not often rhyme.
I am not a daughter of Apollo. (Hermes, maybe. Apollo, no.))

Stuff about me that is okay to know....
Well, I'm not beginner, but I'm not semi-lit. If I'm in a really good mood, I can post a few lines, maybe a paragraph or two, depending on what is going on in the RP. During conversations, don't expect a whole paragraph unless my character is explaining something or telling a story.
I'm online A LOT, and most of the 24 hours a day. I will be going on vacation a little during the summer, but I will let you know beforehand, and probably still find a way to get online at least once a day.
I tend to rant OOC sometimes, when I'm really annoyed by something or confused. You're best bet is to ignore it. I've been in RPs that have lasted for about 2 years now, to some that only lasted about a week because the plot didn't work or me and my partner didn't get along.
I reply pretty quickly, but am in a few other RPs, get sidetracked, and poof sometimes, so yeah.

Stuff I need from you:
Fast replys.
If you leave to take a break from the rP for a few days, TELL ME. I've had someone start a really good RP with me, but then leave and move on to other RPs claiming to need a break, and than tell me they're sorry, post twice, and then leave again. It was frustrating, and the RP ended.
Be online often, and it's best if you live in America, because timezones will be closer.
Be ready to chat in OOC, because I can be a chatty person sometimes.
HELP WITH THE PLOT. Add in your owns twists when the RP is getting slow, make suggestions, blow a few things up randomly!
Don't just leave the RP. It's rude.

What I would like from you:

• if you can mirror my posts I would prefer you do unless I put a mound of house/action description irrelevant to what you can reply to.

• do not read my post and leave it unread, I like to add my roleplay partners to my friend list and can usually see when you are online. Unless you have something going on you forgot to remind me about.

• try to at least center your writing, I like dressed up posts and can dress up mine if you'd like.

• Try to be at the lowest semi-lit a I am currently reading a lot and writing to get to literate level.

• if you are losing interest do warn me instead of jumping off and never replying again.

• unless you have a flippin' excellent reason for your character to leave in the middle of a conversation, you have to roleplay the whole thing out. I can't stress enough how annoying it is when every time I try to provide interaction, and someone just pulls their character away by themselves for no good reason an kills the whole roleplay.

• I like mature roleplays, my characters are usually a little older and sometimes serious; I do not bode well with hyper, silly, and random characters. Please find other personalities to roleplay.

• once again, ONLY semi-lit, which is not a paragraph, two paragraphs minimum, please.

Hi, I'm Hornz. :3 This post isn't going to be very pretty or very long, so I'll cut to the chase. You can call me Brittany, if you'd like. I'm a girl from Florida, meaning that I run on EST. I'm on almost all the time except for the hours I'm sleeping (sometimes I'm up until 5am and sleep until 3pm). I reply relatively quickly depending on the level of literacy or if I happen to lose the link. In relation to post length, I don't care how little or how much you post, just reply with something. ►On summer vacation and am on every day, just about. One or two days of the summer I'll be gone, but I will be on atleast three hours a day, most likely around 12.
► Reply a few times a day.
But if you constantly bump, I will feel pressured and not reply.

►Play Canons and OCs. Most of the time, this will be the only way I roleplay.

I mirror posts. If you give me two sentences, don't expect me to go full out. I have typed ten paragraphs per post on a good day, but usually it'll be around three to six, maybe seven. I love writing.

►►"Wow, just about everyone in this city has water Pokemon, don't they ?"
Caroline thought aloud, watching from the shore of the river on the left side of the bridge. She leaned her hand onto the fence that marked the outline of the house she was next to, steadying herself as she eyed the various Pokemon in the water. Multiple trainers had let their Pokemon out, nearly all of them water type, but she had seen some others let out some Pokemon who wouldn't exactly be damaged by the water.
Well this is the Water Gym city, Caroline reminded herself, dropping her bag onto the ground. Of course there would be an abundance of Water- types. She gave some sort of internal laugh, breathing through her nose and the laugh coming from within her lower throat. Realizing she herself had her water Pokemon with her, she was tempted to head into the Pokemon Center and change into the swimsuit she seemed to always carry around so she could enjoy the water with her Pokemon.
That's what she'd do.
Nodding, Caroline let her hand drift down to her belt and unclip each of the Poke-balls, tapping the buttons to where they became larger and would be ready to release her team. She held three in each hand. She could guess which one of her Pokemon was going to stay and guard her bag and watch over the others. Although, she hated to assume, so she just let herself guess who it was going to be.

"Come on out, everyone !"

Tossing the balls into the air, six poke-balls opened up to reveal six red beams of light, all in different shapes and sizes.
Lapras plunged into the water from the start, swirling in a circle and feeling the bubbles roll around her as she brought herself to a halt, swimming up to the surface and letting her head come up. She gave a call of delight, looking back at her trainer to notice some of the other Pokemon entering the water.

"Feeee-!" Cried Fearow, spreading his wings as he felt the breeze catch his feathers. He gave one large flap of his wings, casting him upwards enough to where he'd be able to survey the lake. He noticed various Pokemon in the water, and felt aggressive to the others, glaring downwards at him and he perched himself on the railing of the bridge. He slumped his shoulders, tucking his wings into his sides and lowering his head in a threatening manner.

When Caroline's Raichu landed on the ground, he landed on all fours. Electricity surged through him and sent waves into the air for a moment, but a small flick on the head by his trainer made him recoil and whine. Raichu swished his tail, standing on his back paws, giving a wave to his trainer. "Rai~" He greeted, motioning with his tail tip towards the water. When he received a nod of approval, he scampered towards the edge, easing his front paws into the water. Now confident, he walked into it completely, submerging himself and swimming towards Lapras, who met him halfway.
Lapras lowered her head into the water, allowing Raichu to climb his way onto her neck. As she raised her head, he slid down onto her shell, moving to where he could lazily curl his tail onto one of her spikes while she swam.

Pupitar was just floating on the edge of the water to where she'd be able to move if need be.

Umbreon sat anxiously beside Caroline, looking up to her as she kneeled on the ground and searched through her bag. Umbreon leaned his head downwards, licking his chest and pushing down a bit of fur that was standing on end. He could feel his companion Typhlosion next to him as he was released from his Poke-ball, the larger Pokemon standing behind him. On instinct, Umbreon raised his head, noticing a certain type of Pokemon inside of the river, swimming around with another.
A Vaporeon.
Calling out, he nudged Caroline's leg as he moved past her towards the water, easing his way inside the cool waves and keeping his head above water as he moved. What a great feeling it was ! And to know another, from the same evolutionary tree, was nearby. He hadn't seen another Pokemon that had once been an Eevee in so long.
"Umbre !" He greeted, feeling his paws slow his padding as he neared the other Pokemon in the river. He dodged a Goldeen as it whirled past him.

Satisfied at her Pokemon's reactions, Caroline pulled her swim clothing from her bag and held it in her left hand. She noticed her large Typhlosion tense up as he noticed the water- sure, he could swim just fine, and wasn't exactly damaged as long as he wasn't fighting or letting fire be released from his back, he was okay, but he seemed to be frightened by the large number of Pokemon.
"Oh, Typhlosion, it's okay." Caroline coaxed her Pokemon, rubbing his neck as he eased himself onto the ground, laying on his stomach.
"You don't have to go anywhere near them. Just stay here and guard the bag. Okay ? Be a good boy." Caroline reminded, a soothing tone masking her voice as she leaned down and kissed the fur on his head. A rumble came from within his throat as he reached his head up and nuzzled her neck, but lowered his head back down as she stood and began walking off.

Now focusing on the task at hand, Caroline glanced at the Pokemon in the water again.
She noticed a purple-haired girl standing on the bridge, eying the Pokemon below at one point. She felt the need to greet her, but simply raised her right hand and waved.
"Hey ! Any of them yours ?"
Caroline called, in reference to the massive number in the water.
She couldn't help but notice some other trainers were swimming, too.

Devina gave the smallest snort of disgust as she heard the door open. She sat in the 'office', where she usually haunted. The office was simple. On one side of the room, away from the door, ere were two windows covered by black curtains. On the sides of the door, there were four book cases lined with various titles and ranges of books- from novels to poetry to childhood fantasies Father had read to her. Anyway. In the center of the room, there was a plain, wooden table with a small black cloth around the base and a light gray laid atop. Two large leather chairs of satin-red were on opposite sides, with a few individual, smaller chairs lining the empty space. On the outer rim of the room, where the shadows hid just about every object and detail, a few wooden chairs were placed. Just big enough for two small children- the two who had taken those spots. Oliver and Alton, the earlier of the two playing with a kitten doll and the other dozing off.
A regal woman stood in the shadows beside them, shielding herself from the sunlight. Her bleached, pale white skin stuck out from the darkness, but none of the children seemed disturbed. Her wrinkles, not from age but from simple worry, gouged out in her cheeks. Her eyes hung bags, from lack of sleep, and her eyes darted cautiously from object to object, as if they'd attack her any second now.
Devina sat in the leather chair closest to the window, her kness crossed. She had her right hand on the armrest, with her cheek against her knuckles. The other arm lay across the opposite armrest. Her own eyes slowly grazed each and every detail of the room, halting on large objects to try and locate exact, defined purposes and impairment.
"...Are these our guests, Sereena ? They better be." She growled under her breath, mouth curving into a deeper frown.

Sebastian quietly opened the door for his young master, eyes half-lidded as they searched for anything that threatened the two. He cast a quiet gaze into room- he could see the young, silver-haired mistress, even in the darkness, sitting with a bored expression. Sebastian let out his own quiet snort as he heard her do the same, repulsed by the idea of the young lady doing so.
Now.
Sebastian may not be human, and not exactally an expert on the...feminine species, but he certainly did not expect a lady of such high ranking to snort like a wild animal when the door opened. And certainly did not expect for her to growl at her butler- the butler !
The female and he himself had made the original plan. The original deal. Sure, it took some cooperation from that....woman in the corner by the two children, who were oddly quiet for their age. Sebastian didn't even notice the two toddlers until he looked closely at the shadows.
He pushed the thoughts away. What an odd family to join into.
Oh well.
No ones perfect.

I'm really hoping we could do one where a few OCs[atleast one for you and one for me] are heading to Sinnoh, together or not. They reach Twinleaf and meet Barry, Dawn, and Lucas as they begin their journey. Develops as we go along.
That, or possibly a ranger, picking a few-or all- of the teen/child rangers from the games and inserting a few OCs to level it out.
Only played the games and watched the anime, but I can find somewhere to read the manga.
And I might be interested in a Pokemon Conquest, maybe a crossover with something or characters visiting the region from other regions and getting used to it. I have an idea in mind.

Tamers only, unless we have Tamers with some hints of Adventure. But I'm used to Tamers and my characters are from the Tamer universe.
Reason I perfer to have canons atleast have a minor part is that I doubt children will be able to figure out everything themselves. But, with the help of the previous tamers, a few hints, maybe being companions, makes it a lot more reasonable.
Possibly a new plot, or start the series over, in a way. For the heck of it. To make things fun with the characters, insert them in it. Fun.
As long as you don't have a problem with one of my females having a Guilmon for her partner, of course. And the fact I don't really like Jeri/Takato as it seems most of the fanbase does. Honestly, I like just about every other pairing with Jeri, and a lot of other pairings I'm flexible with. I've even done Kenta/Rika before and Jeri/Ryo.

~ABOUT ME~

Hi! I'm ThunderStarStorm, but you can call me Thunder, Star, Storm or Nari. Right now I'm living it up in Australia, (Read as; freezing, seeing as it IS winter.) I love RPing, and I don't mind writing the whole sheets (for plot, character etc) but I really really hate it when the people I'm RPing with forget grammer, punctuation and spelling. I know I'm not the best example for perfect spelling (all my 'perfect spelling' has been through word a couple times) but I do like it when people at least try to spell.
I'm usually on every day, but when I'm not I'll usually tell you.
My posts are about 2-3 sentances, sometimes more, but I don't really like semi-lit/lit role-plays becuase sometimes I don't have time and other times I just want to get onto the next bit. Plus, you don't give the other person very much time to reply to whatever you've just done if you do something else before they post.

I really want to try a slave/run-from-the-police RP maybe...just becuase I think it'll be awesome to RP a slave (or a fugitive.)
I also want to do a band RP, but with original characters.
As well, for a hero/villain RP, playing civillains friends or enimes of the hero/villain makes it way more dramatic.

I don't particularaly like (but will still do);
- RPs where you play the book/movie/show character
- Animal RPs
- Boring/Non-action RPs
- Long forms and rules that take ages to read.

Any type of romance is fine by me, het/yoai/yuri whatever, and I'm fine with pretty much anything when it comes to RPs.

I have LOADS of plot bunnies in my head, and they're usually setting off nukes, so ideas aren't a problem.

~Stuff I Like~

= Superheroes, but mainly sidekicks (Eg. Static Shock, Young Justice, Freakazoid, Teen Titans)
= Combining a hero/villain RP with a powers/fear/high-school/teen/romance/fugitive story? O_O It's like the best invention ever.
= Forms. Oh god, that's the one thing I HATE about RPs; the fact no-one bothers with their form, or they bother way-to-much. A paragraph for personality is fine. A paragraph for history that the charrie will tell people is fine. But really? Invistigating all that went on in thier life from the time the were born? I'm sorry, but that seems a little boring.
= Drama! It's my fave subject in school, and I love drama in RPs. I find it's way more fun~
