"So can us wolves" Ryder smiled. "But only criminals and delinquents eat others."

[Offended Cockatiel]

Sore whimpered. "Just say sorry."

"I'm sowwy" Ryder said in a baby-ish voice.

Sore frowned and nuzzled Ryder. "Me tooow.."

Ryder held Sore close and tight. "I love you, Sore. Sorry I ran off on you earlier."

Sore blushed and went all blank, then when he finally blinked his ears flicked in, opening his eyes shyly to stare at Ryder, his ears slid back slowly, trying to go unoticed. "Huh.." He nuzzled into Ryder affectionatly.

Ryder smiled softly and nibbled on Sore's ear.

Sore purred in his own little sheepy way. "I love you." He whispered softly, over and over again, heart beating a little too loudly for his liking. Could Ryder hear that? It was right through his ears.

Ryder smiled and kissed Sore's chest, where his heart was.
