Coraline laughed at Eden and gave an innocent smile as she shrugged a bit in a 'whatcha gonna do?' sort of way. She smiled and looked at Nathan and Eden, and some other guy she didn't know, as she walked over in the new outfit. It was less revealing but she was still sort of shiny from her run, and her hair was wildly colored and almost looked like fire after her run.

She looked at Eden and smiled a bit as she listened to the part, jumping a bit. "Yay! Finally, okay... Remind me, which scene is that?" She asked as her brain was sort of foggy from the runners high. She looked around and gave a sheepish smile as she finally managed to calm her breathing, her whole body moving to quickly as the adrenaline was still pumping through her veins, making her a bit irrational and doing things she normally wouldn't... which was why she did a cartwheel where her t-shirt almost exposed her bra, but she was lucky enough ti just showed her stomach and some of her ribs.

She looked at them and continued to cartwheel up to the stage, laughing happily. "Oh my god! Freaking runners high!" She said as she looked at them and laughed, knowing she could compose herself during the play but not able to help herself right now.

Wess looked at her and smirked, nodding a bit and then looked at Nathan and smirked, shaking his head a bit before watching the girl who was playing Juliet cartwheel around. "What the hell? No wonder you were all rainbows and unicorns this morning... Is she high? " He asked as he blinked slowly, listening to her explain the runners high and tilting his head. This girl was utterly bonkers.

What the hell? He shook his head and went backstage to work the lights and sounds. He smirked and looked around and shook his head a bit.

Nathan raised a sarcastic eyebrow at Wess, raising his hands in exaggerated air quotes in relation to each syllable he said. "Run. Ner's. High." He smirked as Wess went off to work the light board before he gave a small wave to Eden before joining Coraline on the stage. He had to admit he was also energized, although not nearly as much as she was. He was hoping that she wouldn't jump off the stage in the middle of a speech. That would be awkward. He took his place and awaited the signal to begin.

"Act one scene five. The servingmen, Romeo, Mercutio, and Benvolio are on stage already, and everyone else comes out to join them when the music starts. I hope you at least remember your lines," Eden continued, smiling slightly. She was all too used to Coraline's highs, and she wasn't too concerned. They wore off. Eventually.

As soon as both Romeo and Juliet were on stage, Eden gave the same directions she had earlier given Coraline to all the actors, who scurried to take their places in a bit more organized fashion this time around. Thank God. Eden joined Wess at the table before directing them to continue. "Servingmen, your lines." The three of them did their part, and a boy playing the Lord Capulet entered along with his entourage.

This better be convincing, Eden mentally threatened Nathan.

Coraline waited through all the talking till it was her turn... she was surprisingly patient to all of this with her runners high in full blast. She looked around and then at Nathan, who was indeed playing the part of Romeo. She smiled and said smoothly, "Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss. " She looked at him as she waited so patiently for things to continue. She was sort of bouncing in place, but it slowly began to die off as the runners high disappeared and pure exhaustion began to claim her. She fought it off though, biting her tongue to keep her awake and such.

She looked at Nathan, that burning feeling in her gut beginning to start once more as she looked around and then at them. The feeling in her gut was growing and she wasn't entirely sure why, but the closer she got to Nathan and the more the rehearsals went on, the more she noticed the burning in the base of her gut.

She placed one hand on her stomach, wondering why it was beginning to hurt more then pleasant... She looked at Eden and mouthed "I might have to go early..." She didn't want to leave but if she was about to vomit then she'd run off stage and into the bathroom.. She wasn't gonna throw up on people for the sake of the play.

Wess rolled his eyes at Nathan, ignoring him and then watching the rehearsals go on... it seemed to be going on just fine... He watched the girl in case she showed signs of going into some sort of giggling fit and running around like a maniac... Nothing yet, that was good, he watched them and noticed the girl seemed to ave something wrong with her stomach and he blinked slowly as he watched curiously.

He wasn't sure what was going on but Nathan and Coraline were doing great. He kept the lighting right, working to keep it the best he could. "Gonna need to eat after this... " He muttered as he looked around and then at Eden, wondering if she really would go out with him tonight... Nathan had no interest, so why not Eden?

[ so apparently no less than 22 kids that are taking AP World History skipped school today to study at home. All day. Supposedly. And we still had classes anyway, but I don't understand what they were thinking. But now I feel like a slacker. .=. ]

He had the uncalled urge to just tell Coraline to shut up. Her lines were completely perfect, and Nathan savagely wished they weren't, finding himself unable to speak clearly without a thick accent chocking him. He was completely humiliating himself as he said as smoothly as possible, "Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?" while taking a small step forward, as it he as Romeo was nervous, uncertain, and somewhat arrogant and flirtatious enough not to care. He watched with some relief as Coraline seemed to be feeling ill. Perhaps they could stop the scene right then and there. He glanced at Eden to see if she would stop the show, but she seemed adamant...damn.

Eden ignored Wess' mutterings to himself as she watched Coraline with some anxiety. As usual, her and Nathan's lines were given without problem, although Eden did notice an odd quality in Nathan's voice that she hadn't heard before. Well, he still sounded fine, in any case, and at least he wasn't a complete statue like Coraline said. However, her friend seemed to be feeling ill, which concerned Eden a bit. While she didn't think Coraline would stay up there and throw up for the sake of a rehearsal, Eden debated on whether she should stop in the middle...

Well, Coraline was tough. Eden decided that if she had to Coraline would go to the bathroom without prompting. Still, Eden leaned forward with concern as she watched the scene go on. "You're all dancers in the background! Dance, laugh, talk, do something!"

Coraline looked at Nathan, surprised to find his tone was a bit odd... was he angry about something? She really couldn't tell. She looked at him as he spoke, smiling a bit but looking as though she were not really caring. "Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer." She said, looking at his chest, which she was eye level with, and then up at his face, it was hard to really look up at him to much.

She felt her guts twist sharply the closer he got... but the pain soon went away and became almost neutral... she still felt nauseous though. She looked at him and decided she would tough it out. She needed to get through all of this.

She looked at Nathan as she waited quietly, trying to hold back any thoughts she might have that would make her sick. She looked at Eden and then at Nathan ,waiting patiently.

Wess looked around and wondered if the girl would get sick and run off stage... she seemed to relax, but also turn a bit green... what the hell? Was she really sick... they had less then a month before the play and she was sick? Dammit. That was not a good thing... If she got sick and couldn't study her lines then they might have to recast for Juliet...

He put his head in his hands and shoko his head a bit. "Dear long, please don't be sick! " He muttered as he watched her carefully, kicking a trash can to the curtain so the girl could spew in the trash can if she needed too.

Dear Lord, she's continuing, Nathan thought with some panicking, remembering that this was the kissing scene. He wouldn't have to kiss her, would he? Not on the first rehearsal. And plus, it looked like she was going to be sick. God, this was getting worse by the minute.

"O then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do: they pray, grant though, lest faith turn to despair," Nathan said, watching as Coraline's head tilted upwards to look at him, and Nathan tried to seem engaging as he stared into her eyes. Once more he took a step forward, keeping a small mischievous lilt in his stride. He felt ridiculous.

This was getting really awkward really fast. It wasn't that they were bad at acting, it was because they were good. Eden felt like she was watching something that she shouldn't be. But Coraline was still looking ill, and when she glaned at Eden she was tempted to cave and stop the scene. Grimacing, Eden cast a glance at Wess to see if he had an opinion, but all she could hear was his mutterings, although it sounded like he had also noticed Coraline's illness. Eden frowned in indecision before standing up, calling a small stop to the scene.

"Hold on a second, everybody. Coraline," Eden said, coming up onto stage, "are you alright? You look like you're going to throw up."

Coraline looked at them, about to respond when Eden stopped. She listened to them and frowned a bit, nodding. "I'm fine... I'll be right back..." She said as she walked into the bathroom and leaned over the sink, trying to catch her breath. When she got away from Nathan, everything calmed down... how odd...

She washed her face off, figuring she was still a little sick from the run.. she looked around and walked out of the bathroom and smiled a bit, nodding to show she was okay and looking at them. She moved up to the stage to where she had been and smiled a bit. She looked up at him and smiled a bit.

"Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake. "She said quietly as she looked up at him, wondering if he would keep going with this and actually kiss her... it would be odd but they would have to do it anyway during the day of the play. She listened to Wess and his comment and rolled her eyes.

Wess watched them as Eden cut them off to make sure Coraline wasn't about to hurl. He watched Coraline go off stage and calm herself down before coming back out and he raised an eyebrow, popping out a piece of gum for himself as he watched, wondering if Nathan would actually kiss this girl... He doubted he would, he was to stubborn to even think about kissing this girl... He rolled his eyes at the thought, wondering how long it would be before Nathan stormed off stage while ranting about refusing to kiss this girl.

He looked at them and asked, "Before we go any farther... is there any chance that either of you will end up kissing one another..." He asked as he raised the eyebrow, wondering who was gonna actually yell that they wouldn't kiss.

Nathan watched with some relief as Coraline rushed off the stage. He waited a moment there, standing awkwardly and feeling everyone's gazes on him and feeling like they were all thinking the same thing: were they going to kiss? Certainly not, Nathan thought furiously to himself, determinedly keeping his face devoid of emotion. He looked up as Coraline returned and continued her part. Raising a small inquisitive eyebrow but taking her lead, Nathan was about to return the line when Wess intervened.

For a moment Nathan was frustrated that he was cut off before he could say anything, but then he was glad for his best friend. Still, he didn't want to make Coraline feel like an undesirable person, which would surely do wonders for her self esteem, so he shrugged a little before turning his gaze to Coraline. "Your choice."

You should've said no.

Eden watched as Coraline returned with a frown in her forehead but returned to her seat as she watched her deliver her line...and Wess ruining the effect.

"Really?" Eden breathed in annoyance before turning towards the pair to see what they would decide. She decided to put in her two cents. "Realistically you'll have to do this eventually. I'd say get it over with sooner rather than later," Eden shrugged, although she was probably being insensitive ... it wasn't like she was kissing a stranger. Still, it had to be done.
