Coraline looked at her and tilted her head a bit curious as to why Eden was having a bit of an issue... she blinked and put her head down on the desk and raised an eyebrow in confusion. She wondered what was going on with Eden... "He is... okay... He doesn't show much reactions.. he is a good actor though... "

She looked at her and listened and nodded slowly. She wasn't sure what to say. She tilted her head and laid back as she waited patiently. She didn't know what to do other then this.

Wess looked at Nathan and rolled his eyes a bit. "I said AFTER the rehearsal and play.. duh! And besides.. you need to get out more. You honestly need to have some time for fun, maybe go out and find someone to hang out with that is female!" He pointed out before looking up at the teacher, who was glaring coldly at him... he simply looked back at Nathan though and shrugged at his question.

He wasn't sure what to say about the manager... she seemed cool enough."She is fine... she is kind of insane, when she is all stressed out... just don't slip up on your lines and you'll be fine... kind of cute too..."

Because of the teacher's hawk-glare Nathan could do little more than glower at Wess, but he did mutter once the teacher turned away, "I'd have thought that by now you'd have realized that your definition of 'fun' isn't my definition of 'fun'. I don't feel like conversing with air head girls that don't know how to spell the word 'Asia'. And I've told you the story of the girl that asked me that, once. I lost all faith in humanity, then."

As he continued to listen to Wess' dialogue, Nathan snorted. "Great, a manager who actually takes her job seriously. Fun." Then he added, "If you're so eager to go out, then maybe you should take her instead, if you think she's so cute." Nathan seriously doubted Wess would actually follow through with that suggestion, however. Wess never really was much of a "committed" boyfriend--or if he was then Nathan had yet to see that side of him.

"Well, that's good," Eden frowned. "If he didn't have any reactions at all you'd look pretty stupid on stage. No offense." Eden finished off her orange as Coraline kept silent, wiping off the remaining juice from her petite hands before continuing, "Anyways. You should run after the rehearsal, not before. We need you."

Coraline tilted her head a bit and shrugged at her comment to show she was not offended at all, listening to the comment and shaking her head a bit, "I can't... the track closes after five... I'll go during study hall so I have plenty of time to recover... or I'll go right before... it'll be easy and quick, you know I'm reliable! And anything happens and I'll take full responsibility, I swear... " She paused and then smirked deviously,"Aren't you the one who is always surprised how my parents restrict me? Don't want to turn out like them, do ya?"

She looked around and stood as the bell rang... only three periods till study hall where she could go over to the track and run while Eden took a long nap in the library... It wasn't like she planned on getting hurt or anything, she'd probably be just fine.

Wess looked at Nathan and blinked, smirking and shaking his head as he snickered. "Which is why you got to get out there... unless the only female contact you want is with that girl who apparently puts you in such a good mood anyway... I mean, prove you aren't a helpless Romeo like your character... come out with me tonight!" He said as he looked at him and tilted his head a bit.

He listened and rolled his eyes a bit,"Fine... I'll ask her out... if you come with me..." He said as he leaned back and waited patiently. He smirked and ran his fingers through his hair before looking around and then closing his eyes again. He would manage to stay awake, for now. He sighed and closed his eyes as he tried to sleep a little more.

Another eye-roll. It was a Monday night, what was Nathan supposed to do? He had homework, studies, a project, his parents were coming home today so if they found him out on a school night they'd chew him out...not that Nathan cared in particular, it was just that they gave him the same long speech over and over again, so it was rather boring and frustrating to listen to. A waste of time. Couple that with the fact that he wanted to run through the lines again, Nathan said, "Too much trouble." Then he sat back in his chair, frowning.

"She doesn't put me in a good mood," Nathan said rather defensively. "I just don't care about finding a girl. Besides, it's not like you'd hang onto the manager girl, anyway." Nathan added in a quick grin to show that he was joking. Still, Wess' end of the deal wasn't enough to convince Nathan to waste his time conversing with empty-headed blondes. And not-so-subtle jabs towards his pride weren't exactly the best strategy, either.

"Hey," Eden grinned at Coraline's small tease, "I'm only trying to do my job. Trust me, once this is over I'll let you fly free...or run, I guess, in your case." Still smiling, Eden turned towards the front to see if there was going to be anything interesting going to be said today, although she was still mulling over Coraline's sudden transformation in the back of her mind. Eden wasn't exactly a die-hard romantic, but she couldn't help thinking that perhaps the role of Juliet was somewhat...emotional. The idea didn't last, however, as Eden quickly brushed the notion away. Coraline, Eden firmly believed, wasn't the kind to confuse a role of a play with actual love.

Coraline looked at her and smirked, seeming to find her tone funny, "Hey, you've been to my track meets before... you tell me I'm not flying when I hit my stride..." She pointed out as she waited to hear if she had anything else. When she heard nothing, she smiled a bit and looked around. She walked out to her next class.

When she reached her class, she sat down and realized she was once against sitting near that new kid. She smiled a bit as he tried to talk to her again, but she didn't really want to talk as she was feeling even more ready to take off running down the street. When he asked her about the play, she blinked and nodded at the question of Count Paris still being open. She smiled,"You are looking at Juliet... I think the spot is open... not quite sure..."

After that, they stopped talking and she turned to look at the teacher as she began to scribble down the notes.

Wess chuckled and shook his head, not knowing what else to say till Nathan got defensive. He smirked and raised a teasing eyebrow at Nathan. "You sure? You were practically glowing this morning after the rehearsal with the girl... what's next? Kissing babies and hugging puppies? You are gonna go insane if you don't get out somewhere that you can relax..." He said with a shrug as he looked at him and stood as the bell rang, smirking at Nathan's last remark.

He had nothing he could say as he looked around and finally came up with something,"Eh, you never know... From what she said earlier, if we ever do go out, she might be the girl with enough self respect and goals that she might even get me to apply to college..." He shrugged simply as he walked out of the room... leaving it at that as he went to his next class...

Wess was smart, he was talented on a skate board, and he was very good at work.... but he hadn't even applied to college. His family was so busy that he had never even bothered to try. What would it do anyway? College was something you didn't need to work a simple job...

(Okay! Skip till study hall or something? Or to the end of the day?)

Nathan would've sucker punched Wess if the bell hadn't rung that very moment, although he did give a rather loud and derisive snort at Wess' comment. "Good luck with that!" Nathan called after him, going to his first period class.

Another seven hours later, Nathan was out in the parking lot climbing into his car, suddenly energized and ready to get rolling, the feeling quite familiar. He moaned somewhere in the back of his mind, remembering this was all to similar to his rather giddy sensation this morning. This play was seriously doing a number on him. Maybe he should take up Wess' offer.

But that was stupid. He wasn't giving in. Nathan was stubborn. Frowning in determination, he went and drove off to the auditorium.

"Paris?" Eden frowned, glancing at the boy she didn't recognize and frowning into her cast list. "The guy that was doing it dropped out, so yeah, it's open. Normally you'd have an audition, but under the circumstances...you're in." Eden gave him a small smile before pointing him to the tumbling actors on stage.

"They can fill you in...but you might have to encourage them a bit."

Coraline walked into the auditorium, legs weak and loose, but it felt all to good. Her heart fluttered in her chest, beating rapidly from her latest run of three miles. Her creamy skin was slightly glowing from the thin sheen of sweat covering her skin as she walked towards the row of chairs in the front and collapsed into one of the chairs, her eyes closing in exhaustion as the boys eyed up her tired body. She simply smirked, not even bothering to look at them.

After managing to barely catch her breath, she looked at Eden and smiled innocently. "I know, I know, but I couldn't resist... I needed a run. Give me a minute to change and I will be able to perform as normal." She said as she pushed herself to her feet, doing a little bow just for effect. She smiled and grabbed her bag, walking past the boys who were staring at her as if she had just walked by them completely naked... She soon reached the girls bathroom and walked into one of the stalls, changing into a simple t-shirt and jeans after patting her skin down with a paper towel.

She walked out and saw that guy she had seen earlier, smiling and walking over to him as she tied her hair up once more. "Hey! Here for the part of Count Paris?" She asked as she looked at him and then smiled, wondering where Romeo was.

Wess looked around as he skated down the street and towards the auditorium. He wasn't very interested in working today but had little choice at the moment. He smirked a bit at the thought of what he had talked to Nathan before at school. He would just continue the ride to the place, he couldn't remember the name of what they called it.

He sighed as he rode up, stopping and taking his skateboard and going into the building. He looked around and spotted a girl in skin tight short shorts, a white tank top, and with long almost bronze hair walk past him... he then found out that THAT was Juliet... holy sh*t... No wonder Nathan had been glowing. He shook his head and looked at Eden, walking over and tilting his head a bit. "What's up? " He asked curiously as he then looked at the bumbling actors.

This was gonna be sad.

[lol, I thought I'd do worse, but my brain saved me.]

Nathan probably rolled in around the same time Wess stepped through the doors, although he didn't know that. He couldn't unlock the doors fast enough, and he nearly sprinted to the entrance before he stopped himself short. Wait a minute, bro. Calm. Nathan rolled back from his anticipating position on the soles of his feet and came to an even stance on his entire foot. Deep breaths. One. Two. One. Two. Finding himself somewhat calmer, Nathan pushed the doors open and found that he had been the last to enter, and he saw Wess already talking with a girl. She was incredibly short, shorter than Coraline, probably. With the thought of her, Nathan of course went and looked for her, and of course she was standing there with the most revealing outfit on. God, she wasn't making this easy. Running a hand through his hair, he approached the small brunette and poked his nose in the conversation.

"Hi," Nathan smiled, sticking out a hand. "You're...the stage manager?"

"You suck," Eden grinned at Coraline's smiling face. "I'll be counting the seconds!" she shouted after her friend, but Wess had come up to her so her attention was momentarily diverted.

"Hey, nothing much. We've got a new guy playing Paris." Eden nodded towards the boy that was meandering about, clearly lost. "Glad to see that you were good enough to come back for the second day," Eden added, smiling. She turned as she noticed someone else come in and immediately recognized the guy that had tried out--and won--the part for Romeo. Well, he certainly seemed in a better mood than last she saw him, but there was some work to be had. Eden watched him glance around before approaching her and smiling. Oh, well at least he wasn't a complete ice man.

"Eden. And yes, I'm the stage manager," she introduced herself, taking Nathan's outstretched hand. Crap, he was tall. She made Eden feel like a midget. Nathan and she let go of each others' hands before Nathan glanced at the stage. "Am I going up?"

"Uh, you can if you want. We're starting with the party scene, since we've got pretty much everyone we need."
