Coraline looked at him as he parted his lips, somehow hoping he would lean in and kiss her till something forced them to pull apart. "Um...."She said as she looked at him, feeling him remove his arms from her, and suddenly feeling surprisingly empty and cold. She looked at him and then her parents when they came in. She couldn't feel her feet when her mother hugged her so breathtakingly tight.."Ack! Mom! I'm fine!" She finally felt her mother let go and she let out a slow breath of relaxation...

She looked at Nathan ad wasn't sure if she should try to introduce him or something to her parents... They really weren't much other then friends and the friends were maybes.. She nodded a bit as he walked out, kind of wishing he wouldn't leave. She didn't want him to go but knew that asking him to stay would be a little to weird...

She looked at her parents who said they were checking her out and taking her home... she hoped she would be allowed to do stuff tomorrow. She wondered what kind of things she would be doing tomorrow anyway... And what would happen if she saw Nathan again... the thought of seeing Nathan sparked a new thought in her mind... what would happen if she let herself do what she wanted? She had never had such a need to be around someone, just having him be around her made her sort of feel high! It wasn't something she was used to...

Wess looked at her and shrugged a bit again, not sure what to say to that and she looked at her and nodded, paying for the coffees and looking at her, "Ya, it's fine... " He handed her the coffee and filled his with all the creamer he could smiling. He loved sweet things like that. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow,"You can pay me back or come out to a party with me tonight... No way Nathan is going and its a party with an old friend I don't even remember... So I kind of have to bring someone I know... so I don't end up falling asleep..."He said with a smirk as he looked around.

Waving once to her parents so as not to be rude, Nathan said, "I'll see you tomorrow then, I hope," before striding out the door and shutting the door quietly behind him. Taking a deep breath, Nathan leaned against the wall outside the room and stared up at the dull ceiling tiles. What was he doing? What, was he in love with her now? Frowning, Nathan felt the need to pound his head into the wall a couple of times, but since Coraline and her family was on the other side he thought it best that he didn't. Shaking his head in weariness, Nathan pulled out his phone and texted Wess.

About to leave. Coraline's parents came. Need ride? he sent--a short, clipped text that may or may not come off as rude.

"God forbid you fall asleep!" Eden said, smiling good-naturedly before saying, "I wouldn't mind, but are you sure you want a girl at your hip? Unless you think there aren't going to be any interesting ones at this party. Doesn't really sound very...what, intense?"

After thinking for another two seconds, Eden added, "I'm also not going if people are just going to get drunk and high. Because I don't do that. And I find people that do somewhat insufferable." Eden smiled ruefully, the strong language a bit foreign to her but candid and true.

Coraline looked at her parents and then nodded when they said they willy be able to leave now. "Okay, lets go..."She looked at Nathan when he left and nodded slowly... She didn't want him to go, the minute he left the room it felt hard for her to breathe... What was going on? What made him so much like a drug? Was he wearing cocaine for cologne? She shook it off and went back to her parents.

She watched as her parents left the room and went to go and check her out of the hospital. She sighed a bit and sat on the bed, wondering what would happen now... She was rather tempted to go out and see if Nathan was still around, but she knew it was not a good idea. "Just a little longer and you'll be going home." She muttered as she looked around and then back at the door boredly.

She wondered when Eden would get back. She was insanely bored and had so little to do around here....

Wess looked at her and smirked a bit, raising an eyebrow, "Ya, ya,ya. It doesn't matter... I like flirting but I am not in the mood to go hit on a bunch of loose, drunk girls..." He said with a smirk as he looked around and then raised an eyebrow,"You HONESTLY think I would go to a party like that?... I'm hurt..."He said, placing a hand over his heart and putting a pained look on. He smirked though and shrugged, looking at the text and texting back Nah, I'm good.

Nathan raised an eyebrow at Wess' text but didn't think much of it, assuming that he would just call some other guy to pick him up. With some amusement he wondered how riveting the Quest for Coffee was going for him. Pocketing his phone, Nathan exited the hospital and entered his car, sitting in silence for a moment in the front seat and considering the sky. It was getting rather gray and cloudy. Perhaps it would rain soon. Nathan enjoyed rain. It was nice and calming. It was thunder and lightning that bothered him.

Sighing, Nathan turned on the ignition before pausing again and pulling out his phone, finding Coraline's number, and texting You free tonight? and pressed the send button before he had time to think about his decision. And after he did, Nathan felt like killing himself then and there. F*** what did he do that for?

"Uh huh," Eden raised and eyebrow, watching Wess' expression with some amusement. "Well, then, I'd better tell Coraline where I'm going." With this explanation Eden pulled out her phone and texted, I'm going out tonight so I might not be able to answer my phone. Is there anything you need?

"Anyways, when is this party? Theoretically I'd have to ask my dad, but he's pretty chill, so if I'm not out too late he won't really care. Just ... don't mention you exist. Because, you know. You're a guy."

Coraline looked at her parents when they came back in and followed them out to the parking lot and into the car, looking at her mom, "I promise I'm fine! I just need to rest."She said as she sat down and saw Eden had texted her. She blinked and read the text. Sending a simple K back to her friend before leaning back in the back of the car and sighing a bit, about to fall asleep when her phone buzzed. How odd... had Eden responded that quickly?

She looked at her phone to find it was Nathans number. She opened the phone and was shocked to see he had asked if she was busy... that was odd, but it was slightly wanted. I'm free tonight. It was interesting to think he was actually asking if she was free. She looked at her parents, who thought she was asleep, and then waited for a reply in any of the texts. She closed her eyes but her mother woke her when they were at home. "Hm?" She asked, rather tired. She looked around and then got up and walked into her house.

She didn't know why but she was very willing to sneak out of the house to go and see Nathan...

Nathan was already home by the time his phone made an amiable ding!, rousing him from his somewhat sickened doze on his bed. He practically leaped out of the covers to snatch at his phone, reading the text and a grin spreading onto his face. Cool. Expect me @ 9. Address? he responded before sending and shutting the device and flopping back onto his bed, feeling significantly more jubilant than three minutes before. Smiling, Nathan loosely held the phone in his hands in anticipation of Coraline's number, remembering only a few weeks ago how he scorned boys that waited obsessively for texts like this ...

"Cool, thanks," Eden said, accepting his number before waving as he left. Sighing, Eden dialed her dad's number, asking him to pick her up. At least now she had something to look forward to, tonight. Smiling a little in excitement, Eden strolled out of the hospital as she spoke to her dad, telling him about Coraline's accident and avoiding speaking about the party until much later that night.

Coraline had sent him her address waited up as her parents fell asleep, then changed into something a bit better looking. She slipped downstairs and stepped out the door, remembering to take her key with her so she could get back into the house and hide in her bed before her parents knew she was out. If they found she had snuck out then there would be a lot of issues. She waited outside for him, taking her phone from her pocket and waiting for any text that might say he was coming over to get her.

She had no clue how it would be to be alone with him like that... the only time she had ever been alone with him was the hospital.. and she was so disorientated that she didn't know what to do. Now she was better. She looked at the time on her phone waiting, "Come on..."She muttered as she was worried her parents might wake up and see her, so she would have to hope he would get here quickly so she could hop in her car even though she had no freaking idea where they were gonna go. Something told her that he wouldn't be hurting her and that she didn't have to worry about anything bad happening.

She looked at her phone, "It's nine... Where is he?" It was kind of cold out and she was wearing something that didn't provide much warmth.

Wess looked around, having been able to snag his dads car. He moved to the school and waited for Eden, unsure if she would be showing up. He smiled a bit and looked around, unsure where she was. He stepped out of the car and began to look around for any sort of sign she was there. He smiled and bit and put his hands in his pockets and wondered where she was. He tilted his head, calling out her name to see if she was around.

Nathan didn't put much thought into what he had worn when he came out. He hardly had any idea where they were going, anyway. It was more of a spur-of-the-moment sort of thing. As such, Nathan just wore a white shirt -- more business-like than a regular t-shirt -- with a dark leather jacket over it. It was currently buttoned, the jacket closed all the way to Nathan's throat, where another silver button snapped on along the collar to cover most of his neck. On the bottom he wore a pair of dark and well-kept jeans along with a pair of not-so-casual-but-not-overly-dressy pair of black shoes. Seeing Coraline step out of her house, Nathan smiled a little while appreciating her figure in the dress.

"But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief, that thou her maid art far more fair than she," Nathan said softly, emerging from the corner of the house where he had been standing as light spilled from the door when she stepped out. Nathan gave her a small, joking smile as he said, "Do girls only wear dresses without jackets so that guys can give them theirs?" With a quirk of the eyebrow, Nathan obliged to shrug off his jacket, the white shirt somewhat rumpled from being under another article of clothing but otherwise quite presentable, the cuffs unbuttoned. Nathan never really liked buttoning cuffs.

"So, I have no idea where we're going," Nathan smiled cynically, presenting the jacket to her, "which I suppose is the fun of it...theoretically. You'll have to be patient with me. Social norms are new to me." Grinning, Nathan asked, "What do you feel like doing?"

It was a good thing Wess' school was in relative walking distance with hers. Eden stepped out of the car and waved goodbye to her dad, a small pang of guilt in her chest as he drove away from her own school. What she had told him was technically true: she had forgotten some of her stuff in the auditorium. What Eden outright lied about was that there was a cast party for a little bit that night. Well, it was better than telling him that she was going out with a boy that didn't even like her--that is, love her. Eden didn't give it much thought, but she doubted Wess actually loved her. It was just a friend thing. Going to parties alone was always awkward.

Eden was somewhat out of breath as she approached, her cheeks flushed. "Hi," she smiled amiably when she spotted Wess, putting a hand on her hat so it didn't blow off. The slight breath of wind was enough to chill her, her outfit definitely not made for weather like this. Still, it was her that put it on, so Eden tried her best not to show she was cold and didn't complain.

"I'm not overdressed, am I?" Eden asked, frowning at Wess' outfit.

Coraline looked up when she heard Nathan, smiling as he recited a line from Romeo and Juliet. She laughed and walked over to him, rolling her eyes a bit at his joke, "No, I just didn't have time to go looking around for one, couldn't risk waking my parents.."She said, taking the jacket he offered her and pulling it over her, even though it was probably three times to big as she found the warmth of it was very nice. She smiled a bit as she listened to him say he didn't know where they would be going. She raised an eyebrow and said, "Really? Hm... Okay. Um, are there any parties around or something? A park would be nice if there aren't..." She said as she walked over to him and smiled a bit, unsure why he had asked her out in the first place, but she liked it.

She looked at him and smiled, brushing her hair behind her ear and looked at him, unsure what to do now as she wasn't entirely sure what to do. She looked at him and looked at her house, clearly wanting to get away from her house so she didn't get caught by her parents.

A faint smile on his face, Nathan ushered Coraline to the car with a rather over exaggerated and somewhat mocking bow. "Your carriage, mesdemoiselles." As they strolled down towards his car parked along the curb of the sidewalk, he said, "You know, Wess did mention going out to some party this afternoon. Course, I didn't ask where it was, since I wasn't planning on going. I guess I could ask him where it is."

After a pause, Nathan turned toward Coraline and smiled ruefully. "But that would be humiliating. I already told him I wouldn't be going."
