Coraline looked at them and mentally groaned when she was put as the finally decision maker... Ugh! Did they have to make her the big choice maker?! She took in a breath, biting her tongue for a moment before finally responding. "It doesn't matter to me... I'm fine either way... This isn't my first play... " She said, surprised as she was able to make her voice surprisingly calm and almost bored. She worked her hardest to make herself seem indifferent...

She looked at Nathan and took in his appearance for the first time... He was a handsome guy, she figured, and he had nice blue eyes but she wasn't sure she wanted to kiss him... She knew they would have to but she had no intention of truly making it anything other then a quick kiss... She honestly was reminding herself that it was all just business. Nothing more. She would never even want a relationship with him, not really. He didn't seem to even want it to happen so she really didn't care.

"It's up to you, I guess... it will have to happen eventually but it is just a play."She said with surprising ease. Her first play had her all flustered because there was indeed a kissing scene. But it freaked her out, but now she had no issues with it.

Wess raised an eyebrow and watched as Nathan seemed flustered but knew he would be thanking him later... He knew Nathan was likely to say no, but was somehow being nicer... damn, that girl had done something to him. He knew that very well... He just didn't know how... It was a very big surprise... he had two theories: 1) She had injected him with drugs that made him peppy or 2) something more had happened during that one rehearsal before hand!

He watched the girl toss back the chance to say no to Nathan and Wess raised an eyebrow at Nathan, "If he actually does this I'm gonna believe that my cat can get up on two feet and waltz..." He muttered as he looked at Eden and then the two people on stage...

Damn. Now he was going to look like the idiot if he turned her down. She was surprisingly professional about it, and if he backed off it might look as if he was unwilling to go through with the play and all of that. This was uncomfortable. Nathan frowned. It wasn't that Coraline was entirely undesirable, it was just that he had no idea who the hell she was. They were strangers. It was just odd. Awkward. Still, she was right. They would have to get around to this at some point or another. He sighed, running a hand through his hair in some frustration. Finally he said heavily, "Whatever, then. Might as well get it over with." He kept his voice level and calm like Coraline had, although his body language probably was rather off-putting. He backed off into his original position to begin the scene again, keeping his face from betraying any emotion as the others on stage began to snicker.

Eden murmured an agreement with Wess. Nathan didn't seem like the kind of guy that would kiss someone in a play if he didn't have to. Perhaps it was more of a surprise to her, then, when Nathan agreed to it all. She hadn't seen that coming. At first she wasn't sure if he was being serious, but when he glanced at her to give to word to start the scene again, she really didn't have much of a choice.

"Uh," Eden stammered out, "right. Good on you two for figuring that out. We'll just start at the top of the scene again. Coraline, if you would...?"

Coraline looked at him when he finally said they should get on with it. She looked at Eden and then nodded when she said to start it from the top. She recited her line easily, "Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake. "She said in a rather smooth state as she looked up at Nathan. She waited for what as to come, curious to know if he would just back out of it because of the way his body language was said he didn't want to do it...

She didn't even realized she was holding her breath until she felt dizzy. She let out a slow breath through her nose and then glanced at the other people, who now were watching to see if it would actually happen... Oh how she wanted to tell them to mind their own business, but this was their business... This was a play and they were the stage hands.

She looked at them and then back at Nathan, feeling the burning in her gut increase... but it wasn't the 'I'm about to spew' kind of burning... it was an almost giddy feel... like she had when they had gotten a new pool at the community center... but he wasn't a pool and she knew this was nothing to be excited about.

Wess's jaw dropped a bit when Nathan agreed, but shook his head and knew the chances of him actually doing it was so minimum it wasn't funny. He shook his head and sat down just in case Nathan would actually kiss that girl... "Feel the sudden need to turn on the song of The Little Mermaid... you know, the Kiss The Girl one..." He muttered as he looked at Eden, saying it quiet enough she would hear but Nathan and Coraline wouldn't.

[ Also. Excuse these posts. I'm new to RP-ing romantic scenes like this, since RPs usually died before my character got around to it XD ]

Here we go.

"Ten move not while my prayer's effect I take.
Thus fro my lips, by thine, my sin is purged." Nathan didn't allow himself to rethink this over, instead advancing at a quick but steady pace and leaning in. Just do it! he shouted at himself, not noticing the ridiculously giddy feeling that was crawling up his body, that was nearly making his arms tremble in anticipation.

Still, he wasn't about to get out of character, so he tenderly cupped Coraline's face in his hands and glanced at her for a split second--If you want out, this is the time to say so--before thinking F*** it and kissed her.

Kisses, as Nathan remembered from the few relationships he'd had, were somewhat colder than one might expect. Usually he found them all around unpleasant, none too appetizing, all around disgusting. And yet, kissing Coraline was somewhat like drinking in a hot beverage. Nathan could feel an odd soaring sensation spark through his body, and a fleeting thought passed through his mind before he could catch it--or was it more of an emotion? A tumult of desperation, of anguish, and perhaps the most simplistic and pure form of romance he'd ever felt.

That was it. Shocked, Nathan backed off almost immediately, although thank God he managed to do it with some grace. He didn't rip himself away like he was in panic, but he didn't come away all too calmly, either. He got control of his breathing while still staying close to Coraline--to hold character, he told himself--while he waited for her line, staring at her nose instead of her eyes.

Eden snorted to show that she had heard Wess and that she agreed, but as Nathan went in to kiss Coraline she could feel the entire auditorium hold their breath. Well, he went and kissed her, alright, although she was surprised at how...convincing it was. It was almost like they had kissed before.

"Oh, dear," Eden muttered under her breath, putting the side of her face along her arm on the table so she could still look on stage. "Coraline ... "

Coraline waited in a nervous quiet state... She felt him get closer, causing her lungs to restrict and her heart started to beat quicker as he cupped her face, causing a small amount of color to run to her cheeks. She saw him glance at her for a moment before he pressed his lips to hers.

The static was immediate. She felt the warmth in her gut shoot up and flood the rest of her body, but in a pleasant way instead of being painful and twisting... Her lips tingled like they had just had fireworks set off in them... Her breathing stopped and her heart fluttered in her chest in shock, her eyes closed half way as a mix of feelings spread through her chest... need, want, distrust, terror, bliss, and so much more.

When he pulled away, her breathing was surprisingly fast compared to what it had been. She swallowed the thick lump in her throat and controlled her voice and said in a surprisingly smooth voice, " Then have my lips the sin that they have took."She saw he wasn't looking her in the eyes as she spoke and was tempted to break character and shout... Though she didn't know why.. She was still trying to untangle her emotions from her brain. She felt sort of cheap with him having just kissed her and now not even looking her in the eyes... though she wasn't sure why, she had been kissed in plays and the guy hadn't been able to even look at her face anymore... but this was oddly different. She was ready to scream at him, though held back all signs of it.

Her heart was still thudding in her chest as she looked at him and waited for him to start his lines... at least that was out of the way. She glanced at Eden in confusion as she said her name...

Wess's jaw dropped off of its hinges, not literally, when Nathan actually went in and kissed the girl... He had seen couples kiss all the time and found no discomfort in it, but this was somehow different... This somehow felt off limits, like he shouldn't even be watching... But it seemed like the two had kissed before as well, and he was shocked at how intimate it seemed even though it had lasted maybe twenty seconds. Tops.

He glanced at Eden and muttered, "At least they did it... " He wondered what Eden meant by the 'oh dear' thing as he looked at them and walked over to Eden and sat next to her, giving a confused look that clearly asked what she meant.

Nathan was so relieved that the first kiss was done that he had forgotten about the second one. For a moment he worked his jaw in the pause between Coraline's line and his before plowing on, "Sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin again."

The second time, while dreaded, wasn't as bad as the first, since it was all over with, now. Still, Nathan was apprehensive. Was he going to feel that odd sensation, again? Steeling himself, he kissed Coraline once more, this time making it a bit more slower, a bit more drawn out...after all, if it were Romeo, wouldn't he savor the moment? Well, good for Romeo. Nathan wasn't enjoying this at all. The entire experience was so foreign to him, so unnatural, that he wasn't sure what he was thinking anymore.

The second kiss was very much like the first for Nathan--except the emotions ran a bit more like coherent thoughts that were not his own. They couldn't be. He was thinking in Shakespearean language, for one thing, and for another he was thinking such odd and un-Nathan thoughts that he couldn't believe that it was his own mind forming them. It was like another person was there with him, urging him...

Waving her hand in the air to show Wess that it was no importance, she grimaced in agreement when he commented that they had followed through. Eden as hoping that Coraline knew what she was doing. This entire thing was certainly a bit too realistic for their first kiss. Was their first rehearsal as normal as Coraline had let on?

Shut up Eden thought to herself. If something was wrong Coraline would've said so. She knows what she's doing. Eden watched with some embarrassment as the scene went on.

Coraline looked up at him as she listened to him as he spoke again knowing very well that'd he'd have to kiss her again... She was slightly less willing to do it though... But it happened before she could call a break, and all those same feelings came back. Once again, her heart beat stopped and started ad her mind buzzed as the feeling in her lips kept buzzing and her muscles felt all wobbly and dizzy...

But it was kind of perfect. She waited till his lips pulled back, but this time it was hard to breathe, " You kiss by the book."She said smoothly. She looked at him, suddenly hearing something that was almost like a voice in her head... it sounded almost like a love sick puppy of a girl... and she was having a heart throb over the boy standing in front of her... first she thought it was one of the girls behind the stage fawning over her boyfriend... but no... because Eden didn't say anything... It was someone in her head fawning over Nathan... but it wasn't her because it had that thick Shakespearean accent... and it was a different voice, a bit higher pitched...

She waited for the Nurse to come over and she blinked and walked off stage, knowing the next parts were of the nurse and Romeo... she walked passed Eden and into the girls bathroom..

Wess watched the second kiss and it felt even more so like he shouldn't be watching, so much that he averted his eyes until they had broken away and Coraline had gone off stage. He blinked slowly and watched her leave. Well, that could not be a good sign, could it? "Should we take a break?" He asked Eden quietly.

Nathan watched as Coraline finished her lines and stalked off the stage, a kernel of loss quickly blooming in him. It was a play. Calm down! Tightening his jaw but keeping his composure, he turned to the Nurse to begin his next scene when Eden called for the break. Thank God. Nathan stepped down from the stage before Wess could ambush him--because Nathan knew he would--and went to search for Coraline, wanting to make sure that she was ... decent. This entire experience was rather awkward. They should probably chat again before they tried to rehearse anymore, or else things would just be ridiculous. But of course, he would keep the personal experiences he had private. That was a bit...over the top. He'd better not be actually falling for the girl.

Eden sighed in agreement before shouting for a break. She watched Nathan slip away to somewhere and frowned, wondering where he might possibly be going, before stepping out onto the stage. Neither Romeo or Juliet was here, so she skipped over the notes that she gave them and moved onto the minor characters, critiquing on their performances and also what they should and shouldn't be doing. A lot of them had looked distracted--not that she could blame them, with the kissing going on.

"Wess," Eden prompted him when she finished, "do you have anything you want to add?"

Coraline looked around and washed her face off to calm herself down. She walked out of the bathroom, taking the hair bow out of her hair and letting her long hair fall down around her shoulders and upper back. She looked up when she slammed into something... she looked up and realized it was Nathan, causing her to blush bright red, " Oh, um, hi... sorry, I was feeling weird again..."She said as she looked at him and then brushed some of her hair behind her ears.

She looked around and then at him and crossed her arms over her chest and tilting her head a bit. She didn't know what was gonna happen. She looked at him and tilted her head a bit. She didn't really know what to say.

Wess frowned when he noticed Nathan ran off before he could get towards him to ask him what happened. But Nathan ran off easily. He frowned and tried to find him but with no luck. He walked back to Eden and tilted his head a bit as he wasn't quite sure what to do with the slightly dysfunctional actors... "Couldn't find Nathan, I think Coraline is in the bathroom, I'm not allowed to go there..." He said as he tilted his head a bit..
