Harper gave a somewhat amused smile at the sound of coughing from behind. As it died down and the soft patter of footsteps took its place, she pulled out a cigarette for herself. Allowing it to hang loosely between her lips, she brought the lighter close to her face; watching as the flame caught onto the tip of the cigarette. " Different? " she arched an eyebrow at the girl as she took a long drag from the cancer-stick that hung from between her lips. " It's expensive, that's what it is. " she mused and, dropping her hand along with the cigarette back to her side, sent a thin line of wispy smoke trailing from her lips. Casting a brief glance in Fifi's direction before allowing her amber eyes to return to the unfamiliar scenery that lay before her, she listened half-heartedly as the blonde went off into another spew of quickly spoken words. " Butterfly's an insect. " she winked, correcting the girl in a sort of matter-of-fact manner. She brought the cigarette back to her lips for another quick drag and smoke swirled through the air around her face as she thought up her own response. " I'm from Florida. Fort Myers Beach, if you've ever heard of it.. uh, my mom's a manipulative b*tch and my dad's pinned right under her thumb... " she gave a little semi-sarcastic quirk of her eyebrows as she continued to walk, not really sure where she was going at this point. She almost felt bad for answering so negatively, but pushed the feeling aside as she realized anything else would have been a lie. Chewing softly at her lip, she shot a sideways glance toward Fifi. " Hollywood? That must be kind of cool. Is it like crawling with celebrities or is that just something you see in the movies? " she mused, honestly curious on the subject and well.. stopping the constant bombardment of questions she'd been receiving from the overly-energetic girl.

Fifi watched her intimately. “Dissimilar, yes. I have never had such a better taste reach my lips! Costly? I’ll blissfully pay you.” She cheered with a high pitched tone. She walked on in the footsteps of Harper curiously eying her instead of the surroundings. I bet she thinks I am mad. Fifi thought. “An insect, I suppose, but I guess on the subject it is the same thing.” She retorted sarcastically. She smiled cheekily at Harper’s wink and then turned her attention to the scenery. She saw a purple wild flower growing on the path. “Beautiful!” She exclaimed as she feverishly snatched it into her well tanned hand and held it between her pointer and index finger. She was a child at heart, straightforwardly. A candid expression enfolded on her heart shaped face. “Fort Myers Beach? Never heard of it. Well, as my own mother said, look on the bright side. Some people don’t even have parents. I rarely ever see my father. He is always too busy to even speak to me, let alone come home at night. My mum is always modelling to, but she does come home. She doesn’t speak a lot though, she is always sketching or on her phone. What about siblings, do you have any?” She then enquired with a soft tone, almost sympathetically. “Hollywood, indeed. I lived there until I was fourteen. Celebs were practically my neighbours. Fifi skipped along after Harper energetically, constantly staring at her.

Giving a soft shake of her head as Fifi offered to pay her back, Haper smiled. "No, no... don't worry about it. I've got five or six more packs in my bag. " She insisted, and threw a quick glance over her shoulder as she spoke of her family " Never thought about it like that, but I guess you're right. And nope, it's just me.. I think my parents kind of gave up on anymore kids after I turned out the way that I did " she blew another thin line of smoke from her lips; looking almost as if she were going to add something else, but stopping as they reached the peak of a small hill and the lake came into view. A broad smile danced at her lips as she looked from the last rays of sunlight that bounced off of the water's surface, to the blonde that stood at her side. " So, Hollywood... " she took a playful spin on the girl's hometown " Do you swim? " she asked with a playful quirk of her eyebrows, flicking what was left of her cigarette into the grass. Hell, they had nothing better to do. Why not pass the time until nine?

Fifi watched Harper carefully. “I do swim” She stated before realising there was a large lake ahead. They were going to swim in there? How unhygienic! She shivered at the thought, but she did not want to show weakness. She could swim, but not strongly, just barely. She took off her top and then her leggings and placed them on a tree trunk inside her bag. She then hid behind a bush and took of her underwear. She took out her contacts revealing her ebony eyes. She then put on her glasses. "Don't laugh. I am partially blind. I have never told anyone" She could see clearer now, and she liked her glasses, but her mother despised of them, and forced her to wear contacts. She said it made her look geeky and improper. “Woooh!” She screamed widly running into the shallows. She was shaken by the icy cold liquid now lapping at her neck. “Come on in honeybabe- uh I mean Harper” She yelled from the lake. Fifi pretended to swim while her legs were still on the muddy, lake floor. The water its self was a crystal blue, clean and sparkling. She still had the cigarette in her hand and began to smoke it in the water casually. “Come on hun- uh Harper!” She then stuttered loudly before smiling deceivingly. She cried out with joy as she soaked her face, which washed off all her makeup revealing a naturally pretty stature. The water was quite deep as it was up to her neck and that was just the shallows. “Come in!” She yelled before winking.

Briefly studying the girl's expression, a smile set itself upon Harper's lips as Fifi noticed the lake and put two-and-two together. Not expecting such quick compliance, she watched the girl and, once more, caught herself staring for a bit longer than she would have liked -- hell, what else was she supposed to do? It wasn't like she'd been expecting her to start undressing herself right there in front of her! In an attempt to make herself feel less awkward, she began to do the same; starting by tugging her shirt over her head and tossing it next to a tree that grew a few feet to her left. Her eyes only returned to Fifi when she spoke. " Why would I laugh? They're cute. " her words were sincere, and a smile played at her lips as she watched her take off for the water, calling out behind her. " ...What was that.. Honeybabe? " she mused tauntingly as she caught the girl's slip of words, which she couldn't decide was intentional or not. Slipping out of the slim fitting jeans she wore, she also discarded them under the tree before sprinting for the lake; the water offering little relief as it turned out to be much colder than she'd expected. " Holy sh*t! " she laughed to herself as she hesitantly stepped further into the water; catching onto Fifi's wink and giving an amused smile in return. " Are you trying to flirt or does it just come naturally? " she mused in an obviously playful manner as she arched an eyebrow at the girl.
