I hesitated slightly before I decided to answer. What could my name hurt? "Isis." I say, shoving my violet hair back.

"Marcel." He said his name in response. Isis... He thought and and smiled, "Well, see you around." He said and continued to walk away.

Isis watched him go, then headed back down the beach, deep in thought. Could the boy have possibly seen her as a mermaid? She shuddered at the very thought.

Marcel went to a small resturant at the beach, he had seen the mermaid there. He sighed, wonderingif it had just been a hallucination.

Xyris woke up. She yawned and stretched, wondering what time it was.

"Xyris!" isis called out, lifting a hand in greeting as she wandered back down the beach.

Marcel's eyes scanned the beach and immidiately found Isis, "What the heck?"

Xyris jumped and looked at her, "Hi..." She said.

"What are you doing here? It's much more comfortable in the water if your gonna sleep." Isis pointed out, reaching down to pull Xyris up.

Xyris got up with her help and smiled, "I know, but it got late and I didn't feel like going back into the water.
