"A-Attacked?" Isis asked warily.

Marcel nodded, "They think it was a sha---" Jani cut him off. "It was a mermaid!" She said sharply. A few people around them gave her a dirty look.

Isis drew back, stiffening slightly, her eyes widening a fraction. Just as quickly as she reacted, she composed herself and gave Jani an amused look. "Mermaids don't exist." She said as calmly as if she were discussing the weather.

Marcel smiled, "She's right." He said, his arm tightening around Isis.

Jani let out a huff, "That's what you think, but my sister doesn't lie."

"Your sister?" Isis asked, feigning amusement.

Jani nodded, "That's right, she's still in the hospital because some dumb mermaid atacked her."

Marcel frowned, "Jani, stop." He said, getting annoyed.

"Oh yeah? Did you SEE this happen?" Isis demanded, stepping closer with a hostile look. She clenched her hands into fists.

Jani frowned, "No, but that doesn't mean its not real!" She almost yelled.

Marcel simply turned and pulled Isis along with him, "Come on..."

Scowling, she allowed him to drag her along reluctantly.

Marcel pulled her outside, "Sorry about that, she's stuck on what her sister said."
