[Scottish Girl]

Laura bit her lip and glanced around the room before reluctantly walking after him into the large house. She dawdled slightly, but made sure to keep up with him. She looked up at him with the large puppy dog eyes, which usually meant she got her way.

I averted my gaze and kept my eyes straightforward as to not be taunted by her pleading eyes. I pulled her into the branding shop and looked up. A tall, muscular man stood behind the counter, watching the girl. "Here to get your new slave branded?" he asked. I nodded, bringing Laura up to the counter.

The man grabbed her roughly and pulled her into he next room where there was a roaring fire. She was pushed to her knees with her head resting on a stone block and her arm spread. The man took the poker, and blew softly on it, and put his hand under the place was Laura was to be branded,"Hold still," he ordered. Suddenly Laura moved and the poker went straight into the mans arm, making him scream.

I heard a yell of pain and burst into the room, seeing the man stumble back, a burn on his arm. I stared at the girl. She was a fighter. I looked back over at the man, who had grabbed the poker again and stuck it in the fire for a moment, then attempted to stab the mark on Laura's arm while chaos raged everywhere.

[center]Laura ridn't notice the man striding towards her with the poker. Her eyes widened as she felt the pain soar through her, but she resisted screaming. The man grabbed a bandage and wrapped it around the brand tightly,"You are going to have a problem with her," he breathed angrily, pushing her to him.[center]

"Not if I break the habits," I growled, grabbing Laura's wrist tightly and starting out the door.

Laura didn't bother to fight. The collar around her throat constricted her breathing and the brand was burning badly. She tied to kep up,"Slow down," she said breathlessly, but of course he didn't.

I glanced back at her quickly, then sighed and slowed my pace a tiny bit. We reached the mansion fairly quickly and I opened the door, walking inside and letting Laura in before closing the door again.

Laura's hand at once went up to her arm and she unwound the bandage, taking a deep breath as she looked at the brand,"That's sick," she snarled angrily at him, wanti to fling herself on him and punch him.

"It's the law," I snapped back, stepping away. "Get used to it." I stepped away from her. "You will get two meals a day at eight in the morning and eight in the evening. You must eat all of it. You will be given new clothes as the old ones are outgrown. You may explore the first, second, and third floor of the mansion, but the fourth floor is out of bounds. If I catch you up there you will be severely punished for your actions. You will do what I say, when I say it. You will have three hours per day to do what you'd like. You will not go outside unless I say you can, and you will not speak to others unless I say you can," I droned, rattling off rules.
