[Complicated game]

Jin punched her attacker in the jaw, blood dripping though his clothing. "Aw, cute. Scary as a turtleduck." Jin hissed as she kicked him down. That was all she had energy for. She fell over with a thud. She cursed quietly. She forced herself up with great effort and kicked over a small part of her fruit stand and many round fruits spilling over and tripping one of the chi blockers. "Don't mess with fruitsellers!" She cried, throwing an apple at his head. She tried again and again to bend, but no fire came out. She let out an angered growl, kicking a crate.

Ok, she was getting tired of this! Why couldn't all these Chi blockers just leave them all alone? "I think it's time for you all to go now." Tsu held up her one good arm, a powerful air blast coming from her palm. She watched with satisfaction as a few Chi blockers got knocked back down the street, some of them slowly retreating from the shopping district. She let out a sigh of relief, a huge smile returning to her face. It looked like those benders hadn't got too hurt from the little fight. That was good.

Jin had a bitter taste in her mouth. Chi blockers made her skin crawl like nothing else. Disgusting vermin. She was slowly feeling better. She keeled over a couple of benders and tried to help them up, pulling herself up using the side of a building. She sighed, looking around. Well great. This wouldn't help anything. She looked at her beat up stand. That wasn't going to help with rent either, and probending wasn't exactly good income. She picked up a half broken crate and picked up the ruined fruit. Compost again. She looked to the smug airbender, giving her the stink eye. She hated when she messed up and someone else got the glory. Jin liked working in the shadows though. Not as evil, but as a silent helper. Of course that would be all she would ever be. Second rate hero known only for her bronze armor and knocking people off platforms.

Tsu silently checked the rest of the benders, making sure that all of their injuries were tended too. A little smile appeared on her face as the feeling in her arm came back. Now that everyone and herself was fine, it was time for her to go. There was really no point staying here now. It looks like my work here is done. She thought. Tsu was about to leave when she came to a small stop. She had almost forgotten something. What was it? Oh yeah! She remembered now. Looking over at Jin, she waved her hand. "Thanks for your help! I appreciate it."

Jin watched Tsu. Her face had softened a little. She was being her typical self, silently judging if the girl was worth her time. She didn't say anything, knowing anything that came out would be sour in regret of her mistake. She hated messing up more than anything in the world. She tossed a broken watermelon into the cracked crate, sighing at the sticky juice that spilled over her hands. The last of it picked up, she set it by her stand, wiped her hands on a rag, and set her head in her hands, watching the streets. Her radio came back on after a while. "And tune in tonight for live coverage of the next probending match!" Jin made a face. Great. She did NOT want to probend tonight.

She slowly lowered her hand, glancing at Jin curiously. Why hadn't she said anything? Tsu had been pretty sure that she had spoken loud enough for her to here. Oh well. She could always speak to her next time. She silently turned her back, and started to walk away. So much for not getting into trouble. She thought, an amused smile starting to appear on her face.

Jin sighed, then the chime of a clock ripped her from her thoughts. "GAH! I'm late!" She yelped, throwing the shutters closed on her stand. "Ohmygoshmyteamisgoingtokillmeifwegetdisqualifyedandwecantgointhefinals!" She breathed, closing the last shutter and locking it. She pulled a bag from the side of the cart and threw it over her shoulder, running towards the arena.

Tsu turned her head to look back at the girl. Where was she going in such a rush? It couldn't be that important. Could it? She stopped for a second, her eyes filling with curiousity. Maybe she should follow after her. It wouldn't hurt anything. I can follow behind her undetected. This will be too easy. She thought. Making sure that she was hidden behind a few buildings, Tsu silently followed after the girl.

Jin was too distracted to notice the airbender. She raced towards the arena and flung into a room and changed quickly, then ran towards the meeting area where the team met. "And the mysterious Lung arrives!" Jin rolled her eyes. "Shut up Goro." Jin said for what seemed the hundredth time. "Hey Jin. No crazed fanboys?" Asked the team's Earthbender, Kyo. Jin rolled her eyes again. "You're one to speak, lover boy." More insults were exchanged before they heard the announcement of the tournament starting in fine minuets. "Alright!" Goro cried. "The Bronze Unagi will win!" He cried. "Hmhp. I wouldn't bet on it." Jin grumbled. "Don't be so negative!" Goro said.

Tsu silently walked through the various rooms of the arena, her eyes wide and curious. She had saw that girl come in here. Where was she? I should have been paying closer attention! Then I wouldn't have lost her! She thought, frowning a little. As a matter of fact, what was this place? She had never been here before. She peeked through each room curiously, letting out a small sigh. Where could that girl be?
