The nurse walked closer to her. "The doctor isn't ready to release you."

Zach sighed, and looked the other way. He felt awkward.

"My god d*mn arm is fine! I can wear a cast and it'll be better in no time!" Isabelle argued.

The nurse glared down at her. "You have a second surgery coming up in the next couple days, ma'am." She said, starting to get annoyed.

Zach stood up, and went to walk out of the room.

"I hate this place." Isabelle grumbled as she leaned back in her bed, watching Zach leave.

The nurse walked out of the room.

Zach stood outside, smoking a cigerette. He felt horrible.

"Could I at least leave this room?" Isabelle called after the nurse, she wanted to know where Zach went.

The nurse looked back at her, then shut the door, rudely.

Zach finished his cigerette, and stepped on it. He walked back in the building.

Isabelle, taking it as a yes, climbed out of the bed and headed down the hall. When she saw Zach, her eyes narrowed as she smelt the stench of smoke on him. "Were you... smoking?"

Zach shook his head when he saw her. "Does that matter right now?" He looked at her. "Are you even allowed to be up?" He sighed.
