Emily nodded, slightly surprised it wasn't a friend. "I have a snake. His name is Scales. He'd probably love it here too, but I wasn't aloud to bring him." Emmie pouted at the thought. She missed her snake, though that sounded slightly odd.

Jessica raised an eyebrow.
'Woah. A snake? Awesome," she said, smiling, she'd didn't imaging Emmie have a snake. Then again, she didn't really know Emmie that well anyway. Bout time I found out, I guess, she thought.
'So. I'm guessing you must live in Newhampton too, seeing as you work for dad?" She guessed.

Emily was thinking about Scales when she snapped back to reality. She barely caught on to what Jessie said. After a couple seconds, she finally said, "Um, I, uh, yeah." She chuckled and ran her fingers through her hair.

Jessica laughed. "Your mind somewhere else?" She asked, also running her fingers through her hair. She pulled it over her shoulders neatly, and smiled brightly. She knew she must look like a goofy idiot, constantly smiling, but she just couldn't help it around Emmie.

Emily nodded, trying to stop herself from thinking about Scales again. There was no use to it, she'd just get sad. "Just thinking." She said softly as she looked up at the sky above her.

Jessica nodded, not pestering about why.
"Wanna go for a swim?" She suggested, finally gicing into the waves temptation.

Emily immediately got up. "You just read my mind," She giggled and wiped the sand off her legs. Emmie then held out her hand to Jessie, for her to get up.

Jessica took Emmies hand and hauled herself up, throwing her sunnies down on the sand. She quickly took of her dress adn folded it beside her bag. "Race you," She said, winking, before sprinting gingerly off towards the beach.

Emily rolled her eyes. "You're on," She giggled before she took off sprinting towards the water. At full speed, she kept glancing at Jessie every couple seconds as she ran, making sure Jessie wasn't leading.

As they reached the shore, Jessica used her sprinting abilities and shot ahead, diving into the crisp water and swimming slowly beneath the surface.
