Rawson sighed, it wasn't just a bike, it was his soul, without the real connection, he can no longer keep it. He looked at his son "Mother isn't coming home. Ever." Rawson said unemotionally. Alec starred at him, his eyes filling with tears. "But you promised! You promised that you and mommy would take me everyday to school! But you wouldn't know that! I bet you don't even know that I started kindergarten! Or that I'm learning how to swim! I've only ever seen you once or twice!" Alec paused, then before leaving "I hate you!" Rawson shrugged, the boy wouldn't get far before realizing the only food-if he wanted any-cost money, which he didn't have any. Besides, now he could nap.

Alarie stopped the boy. "Kiddo, your father is really good,don't worry he's going to help you." She led him back to the room, and sat into the chair arms crossed eyes narrow. Now after a certain time Alarie just wasn't a sweet girl she turned in to a cool girl.

Alex just starred at her "You don't know me." Alec had taken his father's personality-one in which he always wanted to be dead to the world-But his mother's likablity, his cute boyish looks made everyone want a piece of him. "He doesn't know how it feels to lose his mother, and then have his father not care about him!" Alec was about to go on, but Rawson appeared. "Listen,kid. My mother died when I was twelve, at least your young, you won't remember much, hopefully, second off, for all I care, my father is dead to me, now listen Alec, I'm your father, you were my stupid mistake, now I gotta clean it up. By the way, I was thinking about taking you into the forest today, i wanna try something." Rawson's Amber eyes twinkled, but Alec's Amber eyes showed nothing but confusion.

"I know it's like to lose everything kid. A mother dying, a father hating you and tossing you out in the freezing snow. You have to be strong, but we're all human. Never let yourself feel nothing, and never give in to sorrow, okay?"

Alec shrugged. "Mother said never to trust anyone, she knew father never loved her." He said walking off. "That's not true!" Adder yelled, nearly throwing one if his cruches at the small boy, but something stopped him, Alec turned towards him. "I always loved Amy, why else do you think you were born? You are the proof of our love. Alec, I might've argued with your mother, but I never stopped loving her, or you." Adder turned towards Alarie, "You lost your parents too, eh?"

"Yeah... my dad's a cold blooded murder, and child abuser.My mom was sweet and kind... and he killed her." She looked up at Adder with a little grin. "Don't lose your temper over the poor boy, I know how he feels. If you want, I can spend the night here if it makes Alec and you feel better." She didn't know how else to put it, but somehow she knew it sounded stalkish, which she wasn't trying to be, just friendly.

"You've met my father, my mother on the other hand, she was a wolf, an elemental wolf, with no human form, my sister also has no human form." When she suggested spending the night, his lips twitched with amusement. "Not sure how much Alec would appreciate it, he might see it has me trying to replace Amy." Adder looked down, then back at Alarie. "It's up to you."

"Well..." She thought about being all alone in the forest, and then being with her friends. "Well I'm really not trying to be your mom in any situation, but if there was any way I could help I could be delighted! Then it would be really selfish of me if I stayed."

"You can stay if you want, but if you need me, I'll either be sleeping, or eating, whichever seems best at the moment." Adder mumbled. He walked out, in the direction Alec had walked away in. "C'mon Alec! We can be p-p-pals...yes pals! C'mon! I'm not that bad of a guy." Adder called to the boy who had gone who knows where.

"I'll find'em." She said walking out of the room with her hands in her pockets. She sniffed the air and then in a few moments she was back with Alec.
