In Love and War (1x1 Kat and Hornz)

[Hornz]

Light sighed again. "Should I just leave, or something?"

[JDsalamander]

"If you want to." L replied. "This is rather awkward."

[Hornz]

"Then I guess I'll be going..." Light half-mumbled, standing up and going over to the door. Hesitating ever-so-slightly, he opened it and went into the hallway before shutting it behind him.

[JDsalamander]

L sighed under his breath. ...Just great....

[Hornz]

Light stood in the hallway for the longest time before starting for his room.

[JDsalamander]

L frowned, thinking. He drank some tea.

[Hornz]

Light opened the door to his room, shutting it behind him. He sighed softly, sitting on the floor with his back against the door.

[JDsalamander]

It started getting late, so most of the taskforce left.

[Hornz]

Light had managed to doze off against the door, knees hugged to his chest and his head resting on his knees.

[JDsalamander]

Pretty soon L was all alone again. He had sent Watari to Wammy's House to evaluate Mello and Near's progress, so he would be gone for a while.
