... Xavier ...
Xavier slid the bandana back securely in place. "Bandana on," he said pointedly, and instead of just placing his hand on her shoulder to guide her, he stood right next to her and reached out, his hand over on her opposite shouder and his arm stretched across her upper back. "This should be easier, don't freak," he said softly in her ear. He again began forward slowly, feeling like she was much more secure, not thinking about how she might have been frightened by the close contact. "There's stairs here, I'm going to carry you," he said softly when they reached th eonly flight of stairs. Without thought Xavier scooped the blonde girl into his arms, carrying her easily and gently downstairs. HE set her down carefully at the bottom of the stiars and took her hand in his, leading her forward. He reached forward and pulled the door open. A breeze carried into the castle, carrying with it the fresh scent of flowers. He released her hand and pulled the bandanna off, gesturing her forward. "Go on, go explore the grounds."
