Jane keeps her eyes open and looking around the outside of the moving vehicle.

[Actually.A.Herondale]

Out of seemingly no where, a huge explosion went off to their left, and Nick veered right.

Jumped slightly and held her head a bit. "Holy.... Crap!"

[Actually.A.Herondale]

"I think s*** would be a better term." Nick said, as another explosion went off to their right and a few yards behind them.

Jane nods and shrugs slightly. "Yeah.."

[Actually.A.Herondale]

Bombs kept going off.
"We're either in a mine field, or we're under attack." Nick said, stopping the humvee. The other humvees in the line stopped as well.
"Everyone get out." Nick said.

Jane sighs but obey and slowly got out. "Are you crazy?!" he asked, keeping her voice at a whisper.

[Actually.A.Herondale]

Everyone got out, from every humvee.
"Less people die if we're out of there. Start heading back the way we came! Stay in the tire tracks!" Nick ordered.

Jane sighs a bit and looks around a bit before going back and followig the tracks. "Are we supposed to climb over the top of these? Or do you have another bright idea?"

"I always have ideas." Nick said, falling in behind her so he was the last person.
