"Thank you! Thank you so much. Oh, and my name is Adeline but you can call me Addie."

"hey addie, want to come to my birthday next week? i was going to have a party, but i need some more room to do that..." she asked and said.

"I'd love to Aura!" Addie smiled, Aura was the first person she's met at the school and she was already asking her to come to her party. Addie was used to being left out of the loop or worse, like when her sister was having a birthday party and she had filled the entire house with her friends and classmates from school but Addie's mother just locked her in her room and said
"We're sorry Adeline, but Melanie didn't invite you to the party and we don't want to ruin her birthday," as they had a clearly fake sympathetic look on her face.

"wow... you are the first person i didnt have to ask twice... here's the invitation to the party. it's next saturday...just go to the number here on the map." she said as she pointed to it on her map.

Nix, DD, and Elle listened closely to their conversation as they stayed inside. "I want to go to her party...." Elle whispered sadly. Nix rolled her eyes. "Why would anyone want to invite you?" She said continuing to read her book with DD.

"sorry bout that...another one that lost their way... these are yours..." aura responded as she gave them an envelope..."next saturday... let's go...i have percussion practice." she said as she walked back to the door with a pair of drum sticks and her dorm key.

Addie took the envelope from the young girl. Her smile widened and her chocolate brown eyes that just moments ago glistened with tears, sparkled. She saw Aura walk away, a little sad that her friend had to leave but happy to have met someone she used her newly acquired map to try to find her way back to her room.

aura walked back out of her room and noticed addie. she thought for a minute and had an idea."hey addie?... want to come to my multi instrument practice?" she asked as she looked back in and checked on her clock.
