Crash gazed up a Bailey and cocked an eyebrow at her. "It's not broken," she concluded, gently releasing the fae's paw. "Just sprained." Her yellow orbs swiveled around the woodland around them, and she lifted her nose. Crash's eyes fluttered closed as she inhaled a deep breath, letting the scents mingle in her nose. "We'll need some ragwort." she told Bailey, opening her eyes and rising to her paws. "It's normally used for muscle problems, but it works for sprains as well." Crash began to pad off, when she paused and called over her shoulder, "Wait here." With a flick of her tail, she padded into the forest and was out of sight.
Crash trotted through the woods, ears up and erect. She knew a place by the water where a ton of ragwort grew; but the downside was it was a bit far. Anything to helpa friend. she thought, swerving to the left and padding up a slope. Gradually the trees grew narrower, and by the time Crash was at the top of the slope there were none at all. She gazed down, her yellow orbs swiveling around quickly. After a moment, she saw the tiny creek that lead into some thick pine trees. Her eyes narrowed, she picked her way carefully down the slope, struggling not to fall. Suddenly, a twig snapped under Crash's paw and she jumped slightly, losing her footing and tumblig forward. "Oof!" she yelped as she crashed to the soft grass with a rather loud rustling thump! She slwoly scrambled to a sitting position, thankful no one had seen her, and looked around for the creek. There. she thought as her eyes fell upon the stream. She trotted to the edge of it and followed it into the small cluster if trees.
After a brief moment, Crash found herself surrounded with dark, looming pine trees. Not that she neccesarily had a problem with it; Crash has always been a night fae. However, the trees made it almsot impossible to see. Therefore, Crash was forced to rely on her noe now. She lifted her head and sniffed in, instantly smelling an overwhelming amount of ragwort. She glanced around and could just make out the plant a few yards away. A small smile spread across Crash's face as she padded forward, bending down and grabbing a large mouthful of the leaves. She looked around briefly, before turning tail and trotting out of the cluster of trees and back to Bailey.
"Here." she mumbled to Bailey, her voice muffled by the plants as she reached the injured fae. She dropped them at Bailey's paws and gently took Bailey's injured backpaw, taking some ragwort in her mouth and chewing it. She spit it out in her paw and gently rubbed it on Bailey's leg. "This will take some time to heal." Crash explained as she worked. "So let's get you back to camp. You'll have to stay in your den, andyou won't be able to move around much. But don't worry," she added with a smll smile, "Trojan and I will care for you."
