(Pft yeh thanks... thanks for the 'help'~ ._.)
Crash had returned back to Scarlet's den to find it vacant, her scent growing stale. She narrowed her eyes when she inhaled, finding Jet's scent mingled in with Scarlet's. Jet? she thought in her mind. Why would Jet of all wolves be here? Crash turned tail and trotted out of the den, lifting her nose to breathe in sharply. She didn't know what was going on, or where her Alpha was; but damnit, she was going to find out! After a moment, she noted Jet and Scarlet's scent mingling within her nostrils and began to follow their trail.
Crash padded through the woodland softly, her eyes focused straight ahead. Ever so often, she would pause briefly to sniff the air, making sure that she was still on Jet and Scarlet's trails. The dirt was cool underpaw, and the smell of rain was heavy in the air. Night had unexpectedely crept upon the forest, plunging the scenery around into a black ominous abyss. An annoyed sigh escaped Crash's lips as she treaded along softly, her orbs narrowing. Though I'm a night fae, she noted mentally, slightly tripping on a root. This is really not the time! Blind as a bat, Crash was forced to rely on her nose now to guide her to Jet and Scarlet.
Thunder clapped overhead as Crash padded quietly up a large slope, hot on the wolves' trails. She felt something cold splash onto her nose and looked up to see rain beginning to lightly fall down. Crash sighed and shook her head, once again focused on her mission. Finally, Crash squinted her eyes as she nared the top of the slope. She could just make out silhouettes of wolves just beyond, and the air was thick with Jet and Scarlet's scent. "Finally..." Crash breathed, trotting over towards the wolves. Suddenly, Crash froze, ears up and alert. Scarlet's shadows was streaking off into the night, a small shape dangling from her mouth. Blood scent tainted the air and Crash narrowed her yellow orbs, stalking slowly towards the abandoned den. Jet lay there, crimson oozing from his ears and mouth, and Crash gasped, padding over to him quickly. "Jet!" she cried out, listening to the thunder roaring in the night sky.
(Mmhmm mmhmm good sceneryy for this~ ._.)
