Matt bit into Natalie's arm. He made sure to keep his mind on how much blood he was taking from her and stopped after he got enough so he could heal. It wasn't enough to do any actual damage to Natalie, maybe make her have a headache and feel dizzy for a few minutes, but she would be fine. "I don't know what happened at the cave, but it was something bad. I didn't think that they knew that I was there, but I guess a breeze blew my scent toward Nefora because she sent some of her drones after me. I tried to run away, but one of them grabbed my shirt and I had to fight them. I managed to kill three of them and I think that I just knocked the fourth one out. That was after they tore me up, the pain was unbelievable." He said, explaining what happened.

Sky continued to kiss his neck lightly. Her hands moved from the back of his head to his back. They rested against his warm skin. There has only been one other guy in all her years that has made her feel this happy.

Natalie felt dizzy and fainted. But only for a moment. When she came to she noticed Matt's wounds healing.

Nick cupped Sky's face in his hands and kissed her lovingly. His heart pounded fast in his chest. He didn't want her to go back to her coven. He didn't trust Nefora.

Matt jumped when Natalie fainted. "I'm so sorry, I tried to stop before I hurt you. You weren't supposed to faint." He said when she came to again. He felt really bad that he hurt her since she was trying to help him, even if she was a hunter.

Sky kissed Nick back. She could feel his heart beating due to how close she was to him. She found herself wishing that she was completely alive again.

"It's ok. It was only for a few seconds." Natalie smiled. "Are you feeling better?" She asked.

Nick pulled Sky very close and pulled away from the kiss. He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Looking into her eyes.

Jackle nodded. He thought for a moment. "They must have mistaken you for a werewolf because of the scent..."

The drone limped back to Nefora. He reported what had been seen. Nefora nodded. "good... Now... Find sky..." she growled. She waved her hand. Eight drops of blod spilled to the floor from the cut on her wrist and phased into hellish demon-vampire hybrids.

Slythx gasped and helped Natalie up. He cringed. "I sence something..." he whispered in a ghostly voice.

Tiger shifted in her sleep. Images flashed through her mind of blood and fighting. "Lies will be told, Tiger. Betrayal stains the blood you are supposed to ally with as the theat grows near..." a voice echoed.

A black shadow, lined with blue light raised it's head at the ruins of a vampire camp. Warriors behind it growled in laughter as they tore bodies apart to feast. The darted to and fro. The fire had been put out. ((I posted the ranks of the Deti on the first page))

Natalie gulped and clung to Jackle. She didn't want to know what he sensed. She wanted Jackle to be ok.

Slythx's eyes glowed a pearly white. He stood up and looked out of the window. "Lies will be told. Betrayal stains the very blood of whom you must ally with as the threat grows near. Only those who learn to love will survive and escape a terrible fate. You must fight. Fight for your lives before unneeded blood is shed upon sacred ground!" his voice was raspy and held a chill. Suddenly he collapsed and the glow dimmed from his eyes. He closed them as he went out cold.

"Oh my gosh!" Natalie yelled. She jumped up and went to help him.

Sky laid there, happy just to be in his arms. She bit her lip slightly as she thought. "I wish that I never had to go back to the clan."

Matt watched Slythx curiously. He had never seen a vampire do anything like that in his entire life. "What the heck?" He asked after the guy passed out.

"he's pure blooded..." Jackle murmured, incredibly astonished. He gaped at the vampire before him before turning to Matt. "he doesn't burn in sunlight. His eyes glow white and he has wings. It's all there!!" he cried gripping his head and standing up.
