Tyler couldn't keep up, but instead studied the license plate, memorizing it quickly before turning to Seth. "We're going to find her."

Lily watched him, scared. "Please, let me go!"

Seth frowned worriedly and stared after the van, anger starting to take over his body for the guys who had taken her. "I know." He mumbled quietly through clenched teeth.

The guy glanced over at the driver, knowing he wouldn't allow such nonsense, before shifting his eyes forward, not answering.

"She's tough, she'll make it," Tyler murmured, though he wasn't sure who he was trying to comfort most.

Lily was slapped again, and a tear rolled down her cheek. When she gained her ability to speak again, she asked in a small voice, "Why do you want me?"

(For revenge over Leah, perhaps?! O: )

Seth frowned quietly and sighed lowly, nodding. "Alright." He breathed, trying to keep himself confident.

The guy glanced back over to Lily, annoyingly calm. "You're partner, Joey, killed Leah. Hey, may as well make it all even again, right? Life for a life." He mused, looking back out the window.

"I memorized the license plate. We should be able to find them," he said quietly.

Lily's eyes widened, and her heart nearly stopped. "L-Leah?" she stammered. "You're taking me because Leah died in the Hunger Games?"

Seth frowned and nodded softly, sighing. "I hope so." He breathed.

"Oh, I'm not taking you anywhere. Y'see.. Leah had a brother," He mused, jerking a thumb over to the driver. "And, y'know.. He wasn't to happy when Leah got killed. Made if feel.. Misplaced, wrong, forgotten- So, he figured 'Hey, may as well make this little brats family suffer as much as possible, right?'" He mused and flinched slightly at a sudden glare from another one of their partners to show he had said to much.. Again.

Tyler nodded slightly and bit his lip. "Any idea on why she'd be kidnapped?"

Lily's eyes widened. She looked to the driver and bit her lip, then said softly, "I never wanted to hurt anyone. Ever. I didn't want to be in the Games, either. But I have a brother too. You know what it's like to lose someone, and trust me, so do I. But would you want to make another brother feel that too?"

Seth frowned and shook his head softly, "No." He whined slightly, "She never bothered anyone while you were gone. We just hung around the house. Everyone likes Lily, why would they do this?"

The guy paused and glanced at her, slight sympathy entering his eyes since he clearly wasn't hard as rock like everyone else around him, "C'mon guys.. Listen to her, maybe she has a poi-" He was cut off and flinched slightly when the driver and the other guy with them snapped in unison, "Shut up Cole!"

[ Is it wrong if I fell a little bad for Cole being in this situation? xD ]

Suddenly Tyler gasped. "The Games. That's the only time she'd ever harm a fly. This isn't random, it's revenge."

Lily's heart sank, but she kept trying. "Cole, do you know what it's like to lose someone?" she asked softly.

"She didn't even hurt anyone in the Games!" Seth complained in annoyance, "Joey's the one who killed the girl at the end to get them out, he was protecting Lily." He stated through his teeth, trying to calm himself.

Cole flinched in slight surprise at the sound of his name before blankly shrugging his shoulders in reply, cowering under the glare of the drive and his companion. Clearly he was the lower link in the group. He swiftly shot her a somewhat pleading glare as if to say 'shut up' before immediately focusing back on the scenery flashing by the window.
