A few hours later her father looked up,"Come on, we better go and pick up the slave," he said to Ash before folding his newspaper and calling the chauffeur. He waited for the car patiently then bundles Ash into it, before jumping in himself. The card drove along until as they were going over a hill a large mansion appeared, surrounded by vast feilds, full of animals. The stables were much larger then the one Ash's father had, which sort of annoyed him. They pulled up near the stables and stepped out. The father looked round as heard fheering and shouts. He looked around just in time to see Andrew being thrown of a horse and landing heavily on his back."That boy is going to kill himself," he said with a sigh as the people watching departed and Andrew scrambled up, grabbing the horses reins with a groan. Her father turned to her,"You stay here," he said and walked up to the mansion/

Ashlyn obeyed, standing still where she was told. There was truly no use in wandering off, because she already had her eyes on something. She had her eyes on Andrew and the horse, who she could only guess wasn't tamed just yet from the previous thing she had seen. It could just be he was showing off, but she didn't think so, no. With a quick smile, she turned her head, looking around a bit more. This place was certainly huge, maybe bigger than theirs. She knew for sure that the stables were, just from a glance. Chuckling to herself, she shook her head, saying, "Oh, doesn't that show my father up." under her breath.

Andrew bit his lip as he groaned and stood up, sighing at the stallion which was cantering around. He sat down with another groan, catching his breath. He saw his master comic with another man, who seemed familiar. They walked up to the fence which Andrew was leaning on,"Andrew, your new master, I sold you for 50 million," he said with a grin. Andrew raised his eyebrows,"Really! Double what you paid for me," he said. The man laughed softly, giving Andrew a 'shut up' look. Her father shook his head,"Actually I'm not his master, my daughter is," he said as he walked towards the car. Andrew and the man looked up in surprise,"What!" hey said at the same time in surprise. Andrew could deal with being sold, by he had never worked for a girl, in fact he had never been around a girl for over ten minutes.

Ashlyn chuckled, obviously able to hear them well. Or, at least, their words of surprise. It wasn't everyday you had a male slave for a girl, just because of practical worries. People could just be so worried over little things, though. "Father, they sound so surprised," She said, clsoing the distance between her and her father and following him back to the car. "Is it really that surprising?" Ashlyn looked at him, raising a questioning eyebrow. To her, it didn't seem that odd. It probably happened at least once to some slaves. Others, well, she didn't know about. All she knew was that not every slave had gotten female masters, but there had to be some out there that had gotten them.

Andrew sighed softly and the man laughed,"Don't worry, it's not that. Andrew has hardly spent ten minutes around a girl before, he's never been allowed to, this will be a change for him," he said, laughing. Her father smiled,"Well he will be working in the stables in his spare time, now come on," he said, pushing Andrew into the car and tuning back to the man, taking his check book out. Andrew sat back in the car, running his hand through his hair with a sigh. He was wearing his loose black shirt with normal trousers, but even in that he looked dry handsome, and he wasn't even trying. Her father wrote out the check, and watching as the man walked back up to his house,"Your mother is going to be all mad with me, I bet you by the time we get home she will know, she had a sixth sense of something," he said as he slipped into the front of the car, next to the the chauffeur.

Ashlyn shook her head. "Just bring up Erin and everything should be fine." She smiled before getting into the back of the car, right beside of Andrew. She glanced at him with a small smile. She couldn't help it, though. It just came quickly with the first look. In truth, she truly didn't understand why Andrew was a slave. He certainly didn't look like one, considering that most slaves weren't white. Also, it didn't seem like it because he didn't look all that bad. Rather handsome. It made her question why he was a slave. This was the exact opposite of what people here thought of as a slave. She couldn't complain, though. With him under her instructions, he was lucky. She wouldn't ask for much at all.

Andreww glanced at her, but sidn't say anything, just looked rather uncomfortable. The car came to a half outside the large mansion and he opened the door, stepping out. Andrew looked up at the mansion, which in his eyes was nothing special, in his eyes, andro him the stables were quite small. Suddenly there was the sound of foosteps and her mother came marching out,"You spent 50 million on a slave! That is more then our house!" she roared, one of Ashlyn's sisters following looking moody,"My slave only cost 950, I want a new one," she raged. Andrew raised his eyebrows, with a sigh,"Oh this is going to be fun," he said sarcastically under his breath, his eyes still glued to the stables. Her father waved them off,"It was her choice, and you said she could choose her own slave. Anyway, I will enter him in some races and he will make back double what I spent on him," he said, calming them down, apart from Ashkyn's angry sister who looked like she was about to cry. She marched up to Andrew who was standing with his arms folded, day dreaming. She glared at him, even though he was slightly taller then him,"I want him!!!" she moaned, then in a fit of rage punched him in he stomach. Andrew doubled over, coughing, and came so close to hitting her back, but resisted.

Ashlyn grabbed her by the shoulder, holding on tightly and pulling her back just a little bit. "If you've got such a problem, you hit me, not him," She frowned, staring down at her with a hard expression, glaring. "You should be happy with what you have anyways, you little brat!" She held her tight, almost as if her sister was a criminal of some sort. It was clear that she had to, anyways, because she'd probably assault Andrew or something. "If you lay even a finger on him again, you better hide in your room for the rest of your life. You have no right to hit him." Ashlyn sighed. She didn't expect for her to come and hit him, just only verbal fighting. This, though, was completely unacceptable. There was absolutely no way she would let someone else hit him. That was her job to do, but she hoped she would never have to. "He is my responsibility, and if anyone has a problem with him, bring it up with me. Not him, but me."

Andrew stood up straight, still looking rather hurt. Her father sighed,"Come on dear, I will buy you a new pony," he said and Ashlyn's sister pushed out of her grip and went to her mother with her puppy dog eyes. Her father turned to Ashlyn,"I get you a horse as well Ashlyn, Rollo can teach you how to ride it, who better to teach you Ben he best horseman in he country," he said wih a smile and followed his wife and daughter in. Andrew waited until they had gone in before groaning,"How he hell does she have such a hard punch," he gasped, and her father popped his head out again,"You have two hours before lunch, you can start now," he said. Andrew looked up at her, seeing what she would say.

Ashlyn shook her head. "I don't know...I'm sorry about that. I knew something would happen, but not you getting hit in the stomach..." She turned her head when she heard her father, smiling slightly. "Sounds alright...I'll do it a little later, though. There's plenty of time. Thank you for telling me, though, father." She gave a broader smile before returning her focus to Andrew. Her mind didn't rule out all the possibilities. Only Erin seemed violent, and this was another younger sister, not Erin. If Erin were around somewhere, she would have to keep Andrew away, or else he might just get another broken arm. Ashlyn felt protective of him already, but this was her plan anyways. Buy him to keep him as safe as he could possibly get. He would still have to work, though, for her so no one would get suspicious. Oh well.
"Andrew, sit down and just relax. I think you'll be fine if you just rest for awhile." Ashlyn gave him a sincere smile, tilting her head slightly.
