Jace immediatly brightened, and he leaned over, hugging her firmly and quickly, before practically bouncing out of the room. "Thank you!" he called, already bounding down the stairs. He found the room easily, knowing it by how it was perfectly clean and it had a bathroom.

He shut the door, going to the bathroom eagerly. He turned on the hot water, and got in, taking a pretty long shower. He reveled in being clean- smelling good for once! When he did get out, he studied his tattered clothes in dismay, before sighing and pulling them back on after drying off.

{ Camille }

Camille blinked a bit when he hugged her, not having expecting him to be so happy about it. After blinking a few more times, she then rolled her eyes a bit in amusement as she watched him bounce out of her room and down the stairs. "He sure is an interesting stray..." she said as she glanced out of the window.

As he took a shower, Camille just sat in front of the window, watching as the drops of rain hit the panels and rolled down them. A few thoughts clouded her mind, but she didn't think about any of them that much. Instead, she just focused on the rain, since there wasn't really anything else to do.

[rose;]

Jace bounded back up the stairs, using the towel to dry his hair and ears. His hair was messy and dark, but he looked refreshed and... Clean. He came in smiling, his towel slung over his neck. "Thanks," he said. "A lot." He grinned, standing in the doorway.

Unsure of what to do or where to sit, so he just stood, his tail swishing back and forth lazily. His eyes swept over the room, and he cringed slightly at another roll of thunder.

{ Camille }

Camille blinked once, and then glanced away from the window and over at him some. "Your welcome." she said, folding her legs as she sat on the bed. She then watched him for a second, before tilting her head to one side slightly. "You do know you can sit down... It's not like I'm going to freak out at you if you do."

When she noticed him cringe slightly at the thunder, she watched him, a rather curious look showing up on her face again. "You're afraid of thunder...?"

Jace sat down by the wall, not really seeing a chair or anything, so he just sat on the floor, crossing his legs under himself. He leaned up against the wall, a picture of being conpletely relaxed... Yet he could have been up and out of the room in seconds if needed to be, or in the closet... Or even under the bed if really needed. He couldn't help but look for escape routes and hiding places everywhere he went.

Jace scowled slightly when she asked though. "Ya," he mumbled, looking down at his feet, picking at the strands of his pants. "Don't make fun of Me..." A lot of the other strays did, he had a sort of... Reputation. If you could even call him that- they all just knew he wasn't conpletely like them. Like he left money on the counters of the places he stole from when he found the spare coins and such.

{ Camille }

Camille blinked as she watched him, her head tilting to one side slightly when he said not to make fun of him. "Well, I don't see any reason as to why I would do that..." she said quietly, glancing back out of the window a bit. "I'm not that very fond of thunder, but I'm not afraid of it. There are a few things that I'm afraid of though..."

With a soft yawn, Camille stood up, her ear twitching a bit. "I'm going to go get something to eat. You can come and get something too if you want." she said as she headed over to the door, opening it without a word and then heading down the stairs. Once she had gotten down them, she turned into the hallway and headed towards the kitchen, able to hear the sound of the rain hitting the windows that were in the house.

'Because it's childish,' he thought with a scowl, scowling down at her feet. He looked up silently when she mentioned food though, and shrugged slightly. His eyes followed her as she walked out, and his stomach decided it for him with a loud growl.

Jace jumped to his feet, padding out into the hallway, slowly going down the stairs and following her to the kitchen. He looked around, studying his surroundings, before appearring in the doorway, leaning on one side of it as he studied Camille for a few moments.

{ Camille }

The soft ringing sound of the bell on Camille's collar filled the kitchen as she headed over to the fridge, silently opening it and glancing through the shelves inside. She soon simply grabbed a red apple, and took a bite out of it as she stood up and glanced over at him.

"Do you want anything?" she asked, blinking a bit as she wondered why he was staring at her. A lot of strays would stare at her when she actually headed out on a walk through the streets with the girl that owned her, but he seemed to be... studying her? She couldn't exactly figure out what he was doing, but it always made her rather antsy when people stared at her.

Jace was simply astounded by the amount of food one simple fridge held. He suposed it was normal, but he definitely used to it, and it made his mouth water slightly. He was simply studying her for something to do, and she admittedly pretty, for a housed neko...

He looked up sharply when she spoke, "huh?" he asked, and then looked down, smiling slightly. "Oh, I don't need anything special," he said, lookng back up at her. His eyes were drawn back to her apple though, his mouth watering slightly. It looked amazing actually, he hadn't had an apple in... months probably, that wasn't half eaten already.

{ Camille }

Camille watched him silently for a second, before laughing a bit when she noticed his mouth was watering some. For a second, she fell silent, leaning back over the fridge as she grabbed another apple. She then stood back up, and handed it to him. "Here," she said, smiling a bit. "You seemed to had been eying my apple, so you can have one."

To tell the truth, she was quite surprised by his personality. He was actually pretty sweet, unlike all the other strays she had seen or met before. All the other ones seemed to be disgusted by her, usually because she was a housed cat. Was it because he had been a housed once?
