Moonshade felt relieved when they saw the camp entrance ahead and trotted into camp. She flicked her tail to Snakestrike, asking him to follow her. She went over to the medicine cat den. She poked her dark grey tabby face through the lichen and mewed with the herbs still in her jaws, "Featherfwoop? We fwound ba warigold,"

Snakestrike went into the medicine den and put the marigold with the other marigold.

I spun around, trying to hide the crack with my tail. "Oh! Good!" Padding over, I looked at the amount of stems, eyes widening. "Great Starclan, that's a lot. Thank you." I turned to Snakestrike. "You too."

I nosed it, checking it was marigold, then picked it up gently and placed it alongside the dry, cracked marigold stems I had. I slid past them and dropped then outside camp.

"You're welcome!" Moonshade called. She sighed and stretched, thankful her sore side was feeling better. She flicked her tail. Her dark blue gaze caught Snakestrike's and she asked, "You have breakfast yet? I'm starving." Featherswoop had asked her out when she'd woken up, so she hadn't gotten any chance to eat yet.

"No, I havent," He said, going over to the freshkill pile.

Moonshade followed him over and picked a shrew for herself. She lay down and sunk her teeth in the warm meat. It was probably just caught. "Mm..."
