"Yeah, sure" she said, rolling her eyes. Indie watched, not knowing what to do.

"If I wasn't my own person. I wouldn't have helped Indie, or even talk to him." Rose said.

"You what?" Holly asked, shocked

"Yes I have a heart." Rose said. "Surprise surprise."

Holly looked at Indie. Is this true? she signed. That she 'helped' you and talked to you? Yes he answered. And she did help me. When I was alone and you went to class yeterday, I was bullied. She stopped the guy and helped me pick all my things up.

Rose stood there, waiting. Her hands gripping the strap of her bag.

Holly glared at Rose. "Fine! You deal with his problems now!" she said and walked away. Indie opened his mouth but closed it again, watching her go. He felt upset that his best friend had 'dumped' him and tears appeared.

Rose frowned, "Maybe we shouldn't hang out." she told him, then started to dig in her purse for her phone to call her mom

Indie tured around and looked at Rose. "H-hang... out?"
