"I'm trying Maggie! I think I've almost got it!" he said when the boulder shifted a little, smaller rocks rolling off it's sides.

The small rocks came and hit Maggie on the head know king her out with one last yelp

Kage heard her yelp and paused, a rock falling on one of his back paws. He let out a yelp/scream and jumped out of the hole as the boulder slid back and rolled down the hill. He ran into the cave and to Maggie's side, moving her out of the range of the falling rocks, limping badly as his back foot was broken now from the rock that had hit it.

Maggie felt the pain in her head and her broken tail

Kage stood protectively over Maggie. If any rocks fell, it would hit him and save her. He held his broken foot off the ground, a gash in the top of it bleeding slowly.

Maggie woke up finding her head had spilt from the rocks and her tail was flat. She looked at kage and bursted "THIS WOULDN'T OF HAPPEN IF I HAD NOT MET YOU!!" she screamed but fell over from the pain

Kage flattened his ears and tucked his tail so tight against his belly it looked like he had none. He knew she was speaking the truth. "I know," he said softly, looking away from her as he limped backwards, nearly falling over as he tried to walk on three legs and coward toward the dirt.

Maggie dragged her self to a little hole on the wall leaving a trail of blood from her head as she cried of so much pain

Kage remained where he was. He knew she was right. He stood, forcing himself to walk. He left a bloody paw print every time his broken and bleeding foot touched the snow and he fought to keep from whimpering. He would leave her alone if that was what she wanted. He had tried to become friends with her again but it seemed that someone didn't want them to even see each other. "I guess it just wasn't meant to be," He said softly to himself and the snow as he walked.

Maggie crawled out of the big pool of blood and went outside to clean her head. "I can't believe he keeps doing this" she said to herself
