Kage flicked an ear and dropped his herbs. He could get more or come back later. Maggie was more important. "Hey, want me to carry you?" He asked.

She shook her head no and limped to the shadows

Kage didn't know what to do. Waited for a moment. "I'm going to the other cave. You are welcome to follow if you wish," he said and began to walk. Along the way, he snatched a couple rabbits and waited for Maggie.

Maggie laid where she was and curled up and shook pf the cold air.

When Maggie didn't come, Kage picked up the rabbits and carried them toward her scent. When he found her shivering, he whimpered and set the rabbits down. "It will be warmer in the cave," he said softly and walked over to her, picking up the bigger of the two rabbits for her.

Maggie shook her head no and curled up more trying to get him away so she would die inpeaece

Kage whimpered. He could tell she didn't want him around. He set the rabbit down and turned away, his head low and his tail tucked under his belly as he made his way toward the new cave.

Maggie stood up and fell back down the dragged herself over back twords the hole

Kage whimpered as he sat down. All he wanted to do was care for her and all he seemed to do was get her hurt. "I should have ran when I first saw her. All I do is hurt her," He whined as he rested his head on his paws.
