Songstar opened her jaws and the aroma of mouse flooded her jaws."I smell mouse."She told Fangpaw."Why don't you go catch it?"

Icepaw nodded her eyes shining.She loved hunting.

Fangpaw opened his jaws, the scent of mouse flooding into them. Crouching down, he crept tword the smell untill he could see the mouse. Checking the wind, Fangpaw moved upwind of the mouse, so it couldnt smell him. Slowly, he began to creep up on the mouse, until he was very close. But in his exitment, he stepped on a twig, which broke with a SNAP. The mouse liffted its head and darted away, but Fangpaw leapt after it, barly managing to catch it. Picking it up, he padded over to sit next to his mentor, prey dangling from his mouth.

Padding out of camp and into the forest, Moonfrost looked back at her aprentice. Continuing onward, she stopped abruptly, and sat down. "What can you smell?" she asked Icepaw

Songstar blinked slowly."What did you do wrong?I know you caught it but you did something wrong."She told him.

Icepaw opened her jaws."Rabbit"Her eyes widened."Something else that smells weird(fox)."

Moonfrost raised an eybrow, and inhaled deeply, a quiet growl escaped her lips when she smelled fox "That, Icepaw, is fox scent. Now quik! Go back to camp and get some warriors. I would tell Songstar, if you see her, although she is out hunting right now" Slowly, Moonfrost padded silently tword the scent.

Fangpaw shuffled his feet, and looked down. "When i was stlaking it, i wasnt paying attention and stepped on a twig" he admitted

Icepaw nodded and started back to camp.But curiosity got the better of her and silently she tracked Moonfrost.She was careful not to let Moonfrost know she was there.

The fox was looking for prey.

Songstar nodded."If you were further away the mouse would've escaped.Bury it and we will find some more prey."

Moonfrost continued to treck, until she spotted the fox. Quickly, she darted under a bush, hiding her scent, and hiding her from view. Looking around, she wondered where the warriors were, they should be here by now.

Fangpaw nodded, and burried the mouse. Then he sniffed the air for signs of prey. He smelled squirrel, but also something unfamiliar. He frowned, but ignored the scent for now

Songstar noticed his frown."What is it?'she asked.

The fox didn't notice her and the warriors didn't know about it yet.

Icepaw crept fore ward until she spotted it."It's so ugly"She breathed softly to herself.

Moonfrost's tail twitched irritably. If back up didn't come, and it headed tword camp, she would havE to try to chase the fox off on her own

Fangpaw shook his head "Nothing, I just thought I smelled something strange, that's all"

Songstar blinked and smelled the air.Her eyes swept the landscape anxiously."Go back to camp and get more warriors to come"She ordered and followed the scent.

The fox smelled a rabbit and began stalking it.

Fangpaw nodded, worried. Racing back to camp, he stopped in the middle of camp, panting. Looking around, he tried to spot available warriors

Moonfrost's paws itched to chase the fox, even though she knew she should wait for back up
