Mazzy had started to gather the bodies, understanding I wanted to stay near Griffin.

I gently kiss Sammy's cheeks, very grateful she was already, and we didn't have to worry anymore.

[Patch.]

I giggle and tickle under his arm in protest.
I can almost hear Mazzy rolling her eyes.

I pull away and smile, but I grab her hand, not wanting her to tickle me now. She'd get me laughing until my sides split.

[Patch.]

I smile and kiss his fingers apologetically.

I gently kiss her nose, smiling.

[Patch.]

I nuzzle his arm and rub his back.

[FamineMyth]

"I'm exhausted now.." I sigh, lovingly nuzzling her neck.

[Patch.]

"I'll bet." I stand up and help him get to his feet.
Mazzy had already piled the bodies up and was burning them. Ambrose was wrapped in a golden cloth...I decided not to ask where she got it.

Sore, I carefully stand up. I smell the smoke and hear the crackling of the fire already.
