Jazlyn rolled her eyes "No kidding, I never knew!" she said sarcastically with a tiny bark of a laugh. She shook her head with a frown "Its crazy, and plus at the beginning he tackled me down a hill." she muttered pawing slightly at her neck with a wince.

Fang chuckles. "Not surprising." He frowns at her. "Do you have fleas or something?"

Jazlyn nudged him again "Why would I have fleas?! for goodness sakes, I hurt my neck more because of that fall." he muttered with a slight roll of get eyes. "I swear, Luke almost treats me like a prisoner...but whatever, I'm the newbie." she said it trying to sound ehtusiastic and joking..it didn't work too well.

Jazlyn shook her head "I don't know...the bruising and some stiffness has gone down though. But other then that." she Said softly with a frowned.

"You must be a slow healer. That sucks," Fang says with real sympathy. He'd never had the problem. He and his sister are from a long, interrupted bloodline of werewolves, which is why Sammy could read minds, and he could sense emotions like smells.

I watched the rain silently. Now it was cold and muggy outside but we were dry under the thick tree-cover, which I was happy about. I didn't enjoy being wet. I was thinking, wondering what I was going to do now? Tell Sammy I love her? Would she trust me? Would I trust her? I couldn't think straight. I still held her on my lap, using my body heat to keep her warm even though I was kind of cold.

I stood up, still stretching a bit, watching Amber. I gazed out of the cave entrance. The sky was white and it was pouring rain. I wondered when it would stop. I figured we should get back to camp soon, what was I going to say when Luke asked me why I kept running off with Amber?

Jazlyn sighed softly with a tiny frown. "You should join this pack...At least then I can actually talk to someone." she murmered quietly then dipped her head respectfully "Sorry, I'll leave if I'm bothering you." she said quietly and a bit sad though she tried covering it up quickly.

I smile and brush my lips against Griffin's chin, tempting him to kiss me again. I mean...we were the only ones in our pack. Who cares?
