The gray she cat padded out of the apprentices den and took a seat next to the entrance. She gave a tired look around and she wondered where her mentor could be. She didnt say anything but instead went to go pick something out of the fresh kill pile for herself.

Breezepaw mewled like a kit, as balled up as he could be with another cat on top of him. His eyes were closed tight, and he shivered in fear, enough to be felt by the one towering over him. He was covered in mud, and he was soaked in rain water. He was to scared to speak, but mumbled a few words. He sensed the other two cats around him, but didn't look, "Don't hurt me..."

Brookpaw looked at the scared tom before her, and she was instantly filled with compassion for him. She turned to the two warriors, and tilted her head at them. The silver tabby took a few pawsteps forward, so that she was near him. "We're not going to hurt you." The apprentice soothed, her tail flicking. She turned back to the two warriors, giving them a questioning, curious look. "My name is Brookpaw, what's yours?" She asked, her tone friendly, yet still soothing, as she tried to reassure him that he would not be hurt.

"Fighting!" The twins said at the same time, smiling wide. they wanted to be warriors soon, just like Cinderpelt who was a warrior at a young age.

Cinderheart got off, picking the small tom up. "We should get him to camp," He said softly, slowly walking off. The tom smelt Brookpaw and turned, "Why are you here Brookpaw?" Cinderheart asked, tail flicking, "I must get him to camp now."

"Battle training it is" he said giving the two a smile before turning and walking out of the camp entrance. Once he was out and sure they were behind him, he quickended his pace, giving the two apprentices a work out. The more they traveled the more he quickend his pace until they made it to the training hollow, a sandy area with hollow logs scattered about.

Silverclaw looked around for Bluepaw. When he located her, he hesitantly padded over to her. He was careful not to go too fast that he stumbled again, he still needed to work on his balance now he had no tail. "Bluepaw." He called.

Greyfur nodded, "Did you catch anything? I'll bring it back when I fetch the mouse I caught." She mewed, standing beside Cinderheart.

Brookpaw's ears flicked, as her eyes flashed slightly. "I was out collecting herbs when I saw him." She explained, now a little annoyed at the warrior. "If you're taking him to camp, I'm coming with you." She meowed, and trotted to keep pace with him. She looked at the tom Cinderheart was carrying, and she was once again filled with compassion, buit with curiosity also. She wanted to know who he was. Brookpaw wondered what Dapplestar, their leader, would say. Once she was close enough to camp, she darted ahead and ran to Specklerain, blue eyes wide. The medicine cat wasn't just a mentor to her, but more like a mother or a friend. "Specklerain! Come quick!" She meowed hurriedly, and then darted off again.
