Annie followed along after Hayley,half running,half being dragged.She looked around and her eyes widened."Hayley!They're following us!",she said in an urgent voice to the other girl.She wondered why none of the other residents came out to help and figured that it was a deserted block.

Shannon quickly jumped to his feet and ran through the main room and out the door.He was glad that they had no neighbours or they would have been snared.

"Just relax, focus, Annie." Hayley said to her, trying to pick up the pace a bit so that they would get outside and lose the men outside somewhere. She was starting to panic as well as they were starting to get closer. The men were bigger than them, stronger, and faster.

Max growled and ran after Shannon, seeing the girls running ahead of them. "Girls, get back here now!" He called to them as he ran, him and Shannon quickly starting to close the gap between them.

Annie stumbled,catching her foot in a loose piece of carpet."No!",she thought.This would give the men a serious advantage.Guilt overwhelmed Annie when she turned her head and saw the men grow closer.

Shannon reached out,missing Annie,who was noticably slower and behind Hayley,by a small distance.He growled but a smirk crossed his face when Annie stumbled.

Even when Annie stumbled, Hayley didn't let go of her. They were in this together and she wasn't going to just leave her. Hayley quickly gripped onto Annie a bit tighter and suddenly yanked her forward, using her body to propel Annie forward but being pulled back a little herself. "Annie, just keep running and get outside!" She yelled to her.

Max also went to grab Annie as she stumbled, but missed as Hayley pulled her forward. But that made Hayley in reaching distance and he smirked. Did they honestly think this was going to work?

Annie ran after Hayley,trying really hard to match her pace.She started to run out of breath,being her slow,unfit self,but the men behind her made her keep going.She was out now and she didn't have any intentions of being caught or being dragged back there.

Shannon took advantage of the moment where Hayley was pushed a little back.The fact that Hayley had saved the girl who she claimed to not know shocked shannon slightly.With one more good lunge he would get Hayley and it would be game over.

Hayley suddenly stopped dead in her tracks, making Shannon bump into her and making her fall onto the ground, getting the air knocked out of her. She hoped this would slow Max and him down, giving Annie a chance to run away before she was caught.

Max did get slowed down a bit at Hayley stopped suddenly, but he just jumped over her and continued to run after Annie, determined to get her back. He picked up his pace more and was starting to get closer to her once more.

Annie looked over her shoulder and saw Hayley on the ground."Oh no no no",she thought thinking about what the guys might do to her if she was alone.She had two options here;one.Run and get help or two,stay and face a possibly angry Hayley.Going with option two,Annie made a u-turn and sped back to Hayley."That's not going to happen",she said desperately trying to get Hayley to stand up."I'm not leaving this stupid building without you",she said determinedly.

Shannon staggered backwards a little dazed after the collision.he leaned against a wall for support and cursed Hayley for stoping so suddenly.

Hayley was just about to get back up and attempt to run again, attempt since she had hurt her ankle when she fell, but she was immediately pushed back down on the ground again, a heavy foot holding her down. She didn't even bother to struggle, she just layed there, on the ground, in defeat.

Max had stopped in his tracks once Annie turned around. He quickly put a foot on Hayley's back and pushed her back down, then grabbed Annie's wrist and pulled her over to him. "Did you two honestly think that was going to work?" He growled, doing his best not to snap. He was waiting for Shannon to come pick up Hayley so he could go back to the apartment again.

Annie's heart pounded in her chest.She didn't regret trying to escape but figured she would now in a few minutes once they were back in the apartment again.Annie looked down at Hayley and felt slightly guilty.

Shannon shook his head and gathered his thoughts.He took in his surroundings and noticed Hayley on the ground.He walked over to her and picked her up no emotion showing in his face.

Hayley's body was shaking from fear. She would be punished, that was for sure. She knew it was coming. She just let Shannon pick her up, not struggling or fighting him at all. She just curled against him and closed her eyes.

Max picked Annie up when Shannon took Hayley out from under his foot. He tossed her over his shoulder and then turned around, heading back to the apartment. The building of the door getting further and further away. He didn't lose it, but he was close to it. He walked back into the apartment and walked into his bedroom, closing and locking the door so she wouldn't be able to get out. He gently put her onto her side of the bed and crawled back into his side of the bed. "Go to sleep." He simply said.
