Haru woke up, she was out cold that whole night and she seemed to be fine, no health check that night, which was actually quite odd. In fact, it was just strange. She got up and streatched a little, her wings fluttered out and her tail un curled. Where her tail was had left a mark on her leg, "oh great...." She muttered as she looked at it closer.

"What do you mean? It can't be time! I'm not ready!" Argued Kurai, his face paler than normal. Across from him stood Dr. Shinkō, the only human that would dare come in here alone. Kurai felt sick. He had thought things would be better, but once again he had to build a wall around himself. Because he possessed most of a shade's powers, he was being ordered to create his demon animal now. And Kurai was not ready. he was sure he would turn into this wild beast, killing everything. He couldn't do it. "It doesn't matter. You are still going to do it." The scientist said coldly, a flashlight gripped in hand. Kurai snarled, struggling as he was herded out the door and down the hall. He feared for everyone then, but there was little he could do. He was trapped.

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

Dr. Ochiru walked to her room and opened the door with his scary smile, holding holy water behind his back. "Oh Haru-chan, time for testing~" He said and walked in, taking her by force, basicaly gripping her arm in his hand. She hissed about to bite when the scent of holy water was close, she growled and shut her mouth closed and stood, following quitely. "What type of testing this time?" She asked in a hiss, Dr. Ochiru smiled. "It's a surprise."

Kurai backed away from the bright light, snarling. He was taken to an arena, one used for ultimate safety to the viewers. That wasn't a good sign. He turned to face the scientist's, panting as he flickered between shadow and light. He was silent as he examined the stadium lights, recognizing the veiled threat. What were they going to force him to fight so he had to change?

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

Dr. Ochiru walked with her down the same hall and brought her to a smaller room that was used for health checks. He opened the door and lightly pushed her in, "You need to have a check up before we take you anywhere else." He said with a sly smirk and shut the door. Haru stood there, tail limp and wings pressed tightly to her back as she stood there waiting. Like normal, she had on that same bra like top and the little bell shaped skirt and of course, her black leather high heeled boots. {Which never made her seem tall}. The door opened and in walked Dr. Shinkō, he had a clip bord in hand with him. Haru growled and stepped back in anger and slight fear. He smiled to her and walked over then set the board down and looked in her hair. "I see your horns are coming in soon." He said in a muttered voice, he tilted her head up and to the sides, trying to get a good look.

Kurai lunged, swords flashing as he slashed the giant snake's side. It collapsed, its head rearing in front of him as he leaped to avoid the poisonous fangs. "Cr@p!" he yelped as its tail struck him in the chest, shooting him across the wall to hit the wall with a thud. he heard voices in the next room yelling, but he struggled back up, wiping blood from the corner of his lip. "Really? You just had to hit me that hard?" he snapped, wincing as he got back up, feeling the gazes of unseen scientists on him.

Haru growled lightly and pulled away from him, rubbing her jaw. "Don't touch me...." She said flatly and looked away. He sighed, "Alright. Time for testing." He said and grabbed her by the arm and lead her down a hall and pulled her in a room where a second hybrid waited for testing. The two were to fight till one won as better test subject. Sadly for Haru, it was a huge bulk male hybrid who was ready to fight. With a sigh, the door closed and she was left in there with the huge hybrid. "Brawns and no Brains." She hissed,

Kurai finally disposed of his enemy, multiple wounds on his arms and shoulders. A scratch trickled blood into his eyes, and he turned to the scientist's shapes hiding behind the protection walls. "Let me go! You don't want to do this!" He yelled, and stiffened as he heard the door open again. This one was half-human, but looked like a gargoyle mix. It normally would have just about matched him, but his scraped up arms and fatigue sinking its claws into him, Kurai knew the time had come. God, let me survive this, Kurai thought darkly.

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

It rawred and ran at her, hands open with claws pointed at her. With shock, she started running and the room flickered crimmson red. Within a flash, her scarla and iris shot black and the little ring of white lay there. Her eyes shadowed over and her face seemed lifeless as she stopped and spun around. With a gag, she opened her mouth and out came the thread like vine things that slithered out like black scal and headless snakes. They slithered faster than shot out like bullets, aiming right at him. He grabbed a hand full and jerked it back, making her fly over in the grip, with a growl, her wings started to flap and little horn tips poked out from the top of her head, making blood run down her scalp and dye some of her hair a light red.

Kurai staggered. He took a deep breath, and then allowed himself to change, to morph. He felt himself turn briefly into a shadow, but he grew bigger as well, not flickering like normal. Black wings sprouted from is back, and his terrified cries turned into deep roars. As blue eyes opened, a shadow dragon lunged, Kurai feeling his control over himself start to slip away.
