[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

She looked like she was gagging on something, Haru had stopped and looked down at the ground like a limp puppet. Then....the strangest thing happened, black vine like things came out in thin lengths that looked almost like black thread with a radius of two centimeters. There seemed to be hundreds that came out all at once and they seemed to know where the heat of human was. It lashed out like little whips and coild around the man in the suit's fists, ankles, legs, and waist. She still seemed distant but her eyes slowly went to that black ink look and the white thin rim was there but...it had a glimmer of red with it this time around. "Let's play a game~" Her voice came up and sounded....deep and harsh, almost like a full on demon.

Kurai was silent as the mans screams went silent and other men rushed in, bearing water to help their fallen comrade. Kurai silently followed, attaching to Haru's shadow and allowing himself to relax as they were tossed into another cell, this one with torches. It was only then that Kurai spoke, not showing himself. "Why bother fighting?"

[Dᴇᴀʀ Iɴsᴀɴɪᴛʏ]

Haru jumped, the vine like strings slithered back into her body and she looked around, not seeing a single soul in the room but herself. "Simple....I was created for this reason....." She said and tried to figure out where the voice was coming from. Who the heavens is in here?! She thought, hidding her elongated fangs were slowly shrinking to their normal length.

Kurai started to show himself, but stayed as a black, flowing humanoid shape standing across from the demon. "So was I," he said with a short laugh. "But I am a failure. They still use me, but why bother? They are just going to kill me once I truly start fighting. I can't stop once I start..." Kurai leaned against the wall, panting. It was hard for him to turn back, but he was managing. He had the sick feeling of dizziness, but shoved it aside. He was busy enough as it was.

Haru narrowed her eyes at the figure and huffed a bit, a slight soundless snarl look crossed her face. "I can't fail...I've been through so much now that I'm not willing to let anything bad happen." She said, trying her best to prove her point in the conversation but felt like her point wasn't getting across very well. Haru's wings twitched a bit and covered over her arms like a long scarff or thin coat and her tail curled around her leg and stayed in place there.

Kurai allowed himself to completely appear, and looked blankly at her. "You talk like you have something to fight for. Did you come from somewhere else?" Kurai had no idea what plants looked like, what the sky's color was. He had never been allowed outside, and was scared of the sun enough not to try. He was a prisoner in every way, and he hated that he had been purposefully given the inability to ever go outside in the daytime.

haru stood up and nodded. "Of course I have.....and I regret coming here." She said but tried to keep her voice strong. "My mother and father were killed by burglers when I was younger. They forced me out before the gun shots and my neighbors took me to an Orphanage. There I was raised till I was eight, then....Dr. Ochiru came and adopted me. Now I'm just a test subject for fighting." She said and rubbed her arm a little, remembering her mother and father before such a horrid accedent happened.

Kurai nodded, pretending he understood what the demon was babbling about. "Do these mothers and fathers have weapons? What danger class are they?" He was pretty sure adopted meant captured and orphanage jail, but he didn't need to know that. He could just pretend to know, so he wouldn't seem like a huge idiot.

Haru looked at him like he was crazy and shook her head, "They were human. Unable to fight like we can. They didn't have powers or-or anything special like we do. They were just....normal." She said, seeing how she was created this way by dr. Ochiru's test tubes, needles, crazy brain, and several DNA samples. She sighed and shifted weight on her legs, her high heel boots were killing her but she didn't seem tall compaired to Kuria either way.

Kurai nodded. So those creatures were as pitiful as the scientists. "Then why do you mourn? How did you meet them? I am afraid I don't understand, sorry." Kurai gave her a tentative smile, the action feeling unfamiliar when it was for pleasure. But he felt like she wanted to see his emotions, even though no one else could. So he tried to allow her, pushing away his barrier. he wouldn't start fighting right now, so there was no need for it.
